We went there today and it was pretty dead for a Sunday afternoon.

When we came there was a 45-minute wait, so we sat at the bar section. We were treated as well as the dining guests. They had scallop sliders as an appetizer. I’m not a huge slider fan but love scallops so decided to try it. We received three sliders so that usually translates to two for me and one for Robin. They tasted so good that they ended up being 1 1/2 for each. The pizza was tasty and the service attentive, but the appetizer stole the show. It’s a great place, and I can see why they get large crowds.

Let me start off by saying my Fiancé and I go here once a week at least. He loves it, I like it. we always sit at the bar and all of the bartenders are great. They know our drinks and always hand us a menu, as we are always trying new things. With that being said I was planning a surprise birthday dinner for him and advise our daughter to see if they could accommodate 30 of us on Saturday 7/8/23. She spoke with the manger whom I believe his name is Alex and he advised they could accommodate that many, but it would have to be at 5. She agreed and asked if they could decorate and was told she could come at 4 to do so. Let me say how sad I was to come in and find that the manager was very rude and made our daughter cry. She was trying to do the balloon Arch and apparently he made a comment like is this a sweet 16… My Sister In Law entered around 4:50 and witnessed the manger being rude. She actually had to tell him that he was being rude and they were children and did not deserve to be spoke to like that. Upon arrival he came and told the group they were being loud… As if it wasn’t a surprise, you generally are loud for the introduction. He kept coming up advising he needed 2 of the table that I had family get up from as they were enjoying their drinks. HE NEVER USED THE TABLES! even when he came up to complain about something else my daughter advised him it was obviously a problem from the start and that he was not being hospitable and we would never plan a get together there again. His response “Okay”

We were looking for location to have our softball banquet. Joia welcomed our team of girls with open arms. From the planning until night of event they worked with us to make it a special, memorable night for the girls. Food, was excellent. Service was extraordinary, so attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was perfect to celebrate our athletes. Thank you Joia Team. It was a great night

I am so excited thinking about my experience there and to be honest it was three days ago. Anyway, the manager was so welcoming and informative. He made me feel like I was on vacation in the tropics. He was persistent and consistent with just downright good service. I had the salmon and it was to die for. My wife had just an ordinary pizza pie. But let me tell you; this was no ordinary pizza pie. I hadn’t tasted pizza like this since my last visit to an an authentic Italian kitchen on Mulberry st. in New York city. I can’t wait to go back to this place.

Food (pizza) is excellent. We were with 4 other couples and they all loved what they were served. We had a server who is phenomenal , 10 people, no pa p er to write our orders and it all came out perfectly. Made for a very nice evening.

First time eating at Joia. The bread and oil is a great start. We then ordered cheese ravioli and a small margherita pizza. My daughter said the ravioli was magnificent “chef’s kiss!” The small pizzas was perfect size. Great thin crust that did. It overwhelm the toppings. We then had tiramisu and the vanilla and chocolate crème brûlée. The crème brûlée was smooth under the crisp caramelized top. The tiramisu was huge and absolutely delightful. By the time everything was gone, we were nearing food coma…in a good way.

Nothing negative to say about this spot. We had the mussels for appetizer and the Margherita pizza. The food was excellent! The service was spot on. Live music on a Monday evening. We took the Gnocchi Bolognese and the Rigatoni Vodka to our daughters and they loved it. Oh, and the chocolate layer cake was yummy.

The food was very good. The portions were huge and very tasty. However, our server was a bit rude. We’ve never been here before, and she treated us like we were bothering her just by being there. Apparently, they give you bread as we saw multiple tables with bread. Never once offered to us.
