Seems a bit shorthanded in the kitchen but the service to customer is great. They work hard at their job. Food is only ok because it seems to be cooked refrigerated and then heated for your meal. My experience was with the burger and chicken. Both were cold on inside and needed to be reheated. Just saying, burgers need to be fresh!!

I wanted to give more stars ⭐ but I have to be honest at heart. As a waitress a southern home cook and food business worker things need to be worked on here. I ordered fried chicken mashed potatoes pintos and slaw with cornbread and cheesecake for dessert. I ordered lemonade for my drink which was awful. I’ve never tasted lemonade that bad. I had to exchange that for sweet tea which was exceptional. The first plate plate of chicken I received was visually horrible and I wouldn’t dare take anyone that as a server. It was not cooked fresh. And was visually dry! I couldn’t believe anyone would even bring that to someone to eat. My potatoes were luke warm not at all hot. My pinto beans were exceptional but not hot. I did send my fried chicken back and asked for fresh and I was brought fresh fried chicken which I had no problem waiting on. It was just the fact that I was given such a terrible plate at first. Maybe I came at a bad time or something. I don’t want to be rude just truthful. Service could be it better. I felt a little rushed as I was ordering because it was my first time there and I didn’t know what I wanted right yet. I was hardly given time to order but ordered because I felt rushed. I didn’t really feel as welcomed as I should have been. My friend got macaroni and it was disgusting. Like a pile of mush. I’m just asking for better and maybe more items on the menu for selection. maybe more happier faces. Everyone looked depressed and it wasn’t a happy atmosphere at all. I guess for senior citizens this would be a go to place for them. It is quiet which I can respect but not a bit of happiness was presented and I felt a little bad for them. I got a hot dog plate to go and it was ok. If I can do anything I’ll pray things get better here for this establishment. I was brought my cheesecake first and it was probably the best thing I had. Whenever I got my chicken fresh it was better and I appreciate that.

I used to really like this place. This Sunday morning, we went in and were greeted with a friendly smile. Told to sit anywhere. As soon as we sat, a server(caucasian) says,she will be with us in just a minute. About three minutes later, 2 caucasian males come in, before they sit, their drink orders are taken. Another caucasian male joins, them, gets his drink, and two servers are now at their table. My wife (black) says, ” excuse me! We were here first!” One of the waitresses then says,” Oh , they only want breakfast.” My wife says,” Well, we only want breakfast!” Then we( black) left hurt, embarrassed, disrespected, and disappointed. Racism is still very much alive in America, Greenville, SC, definitely at K&S. We are Black American by birth(love it), this day disrespected,Black American veteran!!!!!!!!!

Good customer service, soup was good corn bread was good. Ms Garner treated us better than family, friendly smile Fast service. Wasn’t east to find a parking place. That’s a good thing. Will be back.
