My family and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here. We came for dinner, which I believe is only available if you make a special reservation (usually they just do breakfast and lunch). We each got a full lobster dinner, complete with coleslaw, cornbread, fries, and a GIGANTIC whole lobster. Great value for the price. Our waiter was very likable and attentive, and Sue herself came out multiple times to check up on us. 10/10 cannot recommend Sue’s Cobscook Bay Cafe enough. An unforgettable experience!!

We were visiting in this area and local people told us we should check this place out! We wanted to make reservations for lobster last night, but it rained. So, we came for breakfast and were not disappointed at all. It is as great as everyone told us. They also make their own bread. I had the raisin bread!!

I was staying at Cobscook Bay and stumbled across this place. It was definitely worth the stop. If you are expecting fast service, don’t stop. They have one cook that is hustling in the kitchen and making some good food!

Great breakfast, homemade breads, fresh crab omelet was amazing. Baked beans reminded me of my mom’s. So good we are going back for their weekend lobster dinner. This is a must while exploring beautiful downeast Maine!

This little gem makes the best Blueberry Pancakes that fills the size of a plate. There’s an option to order up to three pancakes per plate. My wife and I really enjoyed the food.

If you want an authentic homemade real Maine diner this is it! We stopped in for lunch because we always saw cars here and had tuna salad sandwich and a BLT. Everything was very fresh – the bread was even homemade. We found out they did a special lobster meal on the weekends for Friday and Saturday night (you NEED reservations) which we couldn’t pass up and we were not disappointed. Coleslaw and corn was VERY fresh. We’re usually pretty picky about our restaurants and we don’t hand out five stars very frequently but Susan has a wonderful place here she really deserves it. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely breakfast in the middle of no where. Omelette was great. Coffee solid. Probably homemade bread!!!! Great prices (see menu). Just a lovely spot that we were lucky to get to.

I had the best raspberry pancake (the size of a plate) ever! My partner had an “excellent ” crab omelet that didn’t hide the flavor of the crab. The home made rye bread was even better than the omelet. Service was friendly, fast “wicked good”. Do not hesitate to eat here if you get the chance!

THIS IS THE SPOT. Everything homemade and from the heart. Best pancake I’ve ever had. Get the wild blueberry one. Perfect eggs. Homemade raisin bread toast buttered on both sides. Sue works hard and we could tell. THE BEST FOOD!

We had an excellent breakfast here. Blueberry pancakes were light and fluffy, with whipped butter and maple syrup. Delicious!! The staff is wonderful and quite cheery!! On our way out we thanked Sue and there she was eating her own blueberry pancakes. Highly recommend!
