Nice restaurant located near the river. My wife and I had some time to kill and needed some breakfast. My biscuits and gravy tasted good, but it was a little cold. My wife devoured her French toast. I would definitely try again.

We went for lunch on azalea weekend (which was a limited menu), and we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Service was excellent! Our server did an amazing job of checking on everyone, refilling drinks, fulfilling orders, and being kind despite the fact that the AC was on the fritz.

Idk if I came on a bad day or what but this was not it. Fr starters my pancake was overcooked and extra chewy I had to saw thru it on top of that it tasted like the skillet it came off of. I’ve never in my life seen Turkey bacon look like that it was horrible and dried out my eggs were supposed to be scrambled well they were bout cooked all the way and the biscuit had too have been sitting in the restaurant for at least a week I’ll never go back here

Laid back but what a find for breakfast downtown Wilmington. Coffee is hot, service was great and the food was delicious. They really know how to cook the eggs here. We have been seeking for an egg sandwich and this is it. Served with a choice of side, grits, fresh fruit or home fries. Well done Dixie!
