Very tasty food and our waitress was the absolute sweetest I can’t remember her name but she has dark hair and a facial piercing. Fried spring rolls were good, veggie rice was very tasty and the $3 sangria was STRONG Not the best taste but knocked my socks off nonetheless. Had the mango sticky rice which was mediocre. However, the custard version on a previous visit was delicious

It was one of the best Thai Coffees I’ve had. Super delicious. I wish I got an extra for later! Staff was friendly & kind. Location was easy to find & get to with light traffic.

Pretty good food, very nice variety and interesting menu with detailed descriptions for those not familiar with Thai Food. And they don’t skimp on the protein!

I ordered through Door Dash the Nara Thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp, non-spicy, and paid extra for veggies. Very disappointing. It’s very spicy, there are no veggies at all and no chicken. Never ordering again from this place. I should get a full refund. It makes me wonder if they even gave me the right order.

UPDATED REVIEW 5-2-23: The last 2-3 times eating here at 1960 location have been very disappointing. The mgr Kevin cares more about cutting costs than producing good food. Theyre using cheaper/different ingredients, including lots of fillers like excessive amounts of carrots in the curry puffs (which are now usually cold, old and tasteless) and water chestnuts in the pad kra pow, which is now officially just meat on rice. They couldnt even make the pineapple curry last time bc theyre out of pineapple. Yes seriously. I had to get tom yum soup bc “we have some of that ready already”. The chicken satay is inconsistent on being tough/dry or tasty/juicy. All 3 of my friends I brought here bc I raved about it had disappointing dishes also. They got chunky, half cooked, tasteless, some basic ordinary veggies, with a few pieces of meat and way too much rice. Not sure if I wanna come back to this location. Not worth $30 to eat here.—Original Post: If I could give 10 stars, I would. One of the top 5 Thai places Ive ever eaten….and Ive eaten in Thailand lol Every single thing there was on point with texture, taste, temperature. Presentation was classic and understated art. The pineapple curry with chicken was a first for me, and extremely delicious. Unlike anything Ive ever had! The shrimp tom yum soup was terrific. The chicken pad kra pow with fried egg on top (cooked in butter, perfect yolk consistency) and pepper, garlice, lime, sesame sauce was incredible. Been in Houston 2 yrs and this is the best Thai food Ive had here and top 5 globally. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Bought a tom yum cup and a panang curry for my gf to go. Food was decent BUT there was a cockroach in her panang curry….

German cockroach in the bottom of my delivery food bag. I’ve ordered here before, flavor is great but the restaurant needs to be cleaned and kept up with. The potential closure of the business because of health violations is worth at least that much as well as people’s livelihood. Looked at the reviews and saw complaints about rats too. The food will never be good enough to keep your place open if you can’t keep it clean.

I’m genuinely shocked by the terrible food I got vs. the high rating at this restaurant… the curry was so watery, the chicken was dry and not even cut properly. Not to mention the sauce for the rolls… the color looks like a kid’s toy. There are good Thai restaurants around Woodlands/ Spring areas; just not this one.

The food here was decent. Nothing too spectacular. The portions are fairly sized and overall for the price it was a okay. If you’re ever in the area it would worth a try. The staff were all friendly

I literally have ordered Nara’s yellow curry like ten times & each time it is equally delicious. I had an issue with my food being delivered today and yellow curry is my go to food because it always makes me feel better when I’m feeling sick & they were kind enough to see how sad I was I didn’t get my curry and they made me a new batch & that turned my night around. I literally hadn’t eaten all day and I was excited to have a definitive appetite & was crushed & hangry! So, not only are they a wonderful restaurant that makes delicious food they care about their customers as well. The gesture of accommodating me when they didn’t need or have to made a world of difference to me. Good food comes from good people! HIGHLY recommend ✨
