This place should be on diners, drive ins and dives. Very unassuming place that we decided to stop at last night on the drive back from Penn State. We sat at the bar and met some great people and the staff were very attentive and helpful with drink and food selections. My wife went with the voodoo chicken and the soup of the day and I had the hot honey wings and a bacon cheeseburger. Great food and everything was delicious. And the locals at the bar were great to chat with. Will definitely go back again!

I was really excited to come here because the build your own mac and cheese sounded really good. Unfortunately i found a long hair in my salad , I found it after i had taken a bite of food and really didn’t want to get any more food from there. It was not mine because i3 have no hair. They kept advising me that people cooking wore bandanas and had no idea how it happened.

I hate to judge a book by its cover but this place is definitely an exception to my rule. A perfect example of a restaurant with too big of scope. 50+ menu items. I’d rather see less items that are done well. We were seated directly under a dusty old loud air conditioner. Our waitress proceeded to turn it up immediately after we sat down.The coke was flat and tasted watered down. The waitress did not care and was inattentive the whole time. My chicken Parm was tough and chewy. The marinara tasted like it came out of a can. The chicken cheese steak was bland.

We visited Frogtowne Grille for the first time — it’s the kind of place where lots of people know each other as well as the staff. Our waitress was super friendly and the food was beyond amazing (I had lamb chops and my husband had boar chops). The downside was that the kitchen was backed up (which the waitress did say) and it was an hour before we got our salads and then my husband’s meal came out more than 5 minutes before mine did. I was frustrated with the delays, but am still giving a 5 because the food was crazy good. We plan to go back.
