I give two stars because they’re friendly and give large portions as I really wanted to give one because their dishes are so bland and don’t have any flavor!!! I can’t believe they’ve gotten so many good reviews! So, I ask myself, have these people ever eaten Chinese food before? I’ve tried to be reasonable and had ordered other dishes (we do takeout only) to see if it was that one dish that was tasteless but we have ordered several different dishes including Work Wonton soup and unfortunately, each time I’ve had to add salt to give the dish any flavor! When I call to order, I’ve even asked if they could ask the cooks to add salt to our dishes and they said they would but nothing’s changed. Sorry to say we go further now, to Forest Grove (we live in Banks) to pick up really tasty Chinese food!!!

Oriental Garden has been a Banks mainstay as long as I’ve lived here. Their food is excellent and set my standards for American-Chinese comfort dishes. A highlight for me are their stir-fried dishes. Veggies are so crisp!

Delicious food, convenient late hours and a wide selection with large portion sizes that are great for sharing. There is even a good selection of vegetarian dishes which I’ve certainly enjoyed on each visit. Service was always prompt and polite. Kid friendly, plenty of space for large groups as well.

Love this place! Has to be my favorite choice for Chinese cuisine. The service is always top notch and the food is delicious! Best egg flower soup in all the land!! The food is served quickly and my favorite waitress serves the best frozen strawberry margarita! Highly recommend

Jennifer, Thank you for going so above and beyond. Letting us prepay our parents anniversary dinner to surprise them was a fantastic surprise. THEN, all the little extras (card,dessert,fantastic portions) was even better. You went the extra mile and your excitement to help on the phone to your waving at the door as they pulled away made this such an extra-special experience. Went last weekend with 3 other adults and a 1 year old. They were fantastic with the little one, bringing her a plate of peas and carrots she could eat by hand and a cup with straw in it. The service was super friendly, fast and accurate and food was delicious with good prices! We’ll definitely be back!

The service was fast and friendly. The resturant was clean. The Sweet and Sour chicken was good. However the pork fried rice and pork chow mein was bland, and disappointing. I will at some point eventually give them 1 more try since they are close by.

We often stop at this restaurant when on one of our road trips that take us home through Banks because the food is always fresh and good; the service pleasant, and the atmosphere comfortable. It always surprises us, however, that it always seems barely occupied the times we’ve gone. My husband suggested a majority of their business could be take out. Anyway, the prices are higher than where we live (most $10 and up), but the serving sizes are such that we often have leftovers, so I suppose the prices are fair. We will return, as always.
