Ok…the place has odd hours. We finally got a chance to eat there on a Saturday evening. The menu leaves something to be desired. The prices are upscale for the ambience of the restaurant. Now I have to give credit to the cook…we ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were delicious and good size baked potato the was cooked perfect. However, the crab that I ordered extra for $14.99 for 1 cluster (a cluster is the Claw and 4 smaller legs), mine was missing the Claw! I brought it to the waitress attention and she said sorry but did nothing to correct it. I mentioned several times I was disappointed that I didn’t get what was ordered. The small legs I did get had little meat and the flavor was over powered by Cajun seasoning. I paid over $59 dollars. Never again!

You don’t have to drive to the big cities to get great seafood! The shrimp was lightly breaded, large and delicious. I’m a catfish connoisseur of fried catfish. Guppy’s is perfectly cooked, crisp and dark brown on the outside and tender on the inside. Oh, and the salad bar is one of the best ever, fresh vegetables full of flavor!

My Dad and I both love seafood, so we thought we would try them out. The service was great. Everyone was very friendly,and the food was awesome. Portions were great, and I had more than I could finish. Would definitely go back.

We had the fried shrimp and Cajun shrimp, both were excellent. Split the order of 12 in half. I had the Crawfish PoBoy with fries and slaw. Excellent, the bread was fresh and the food was hot. Give them a try if you’re in Centre AL.

I normally don’t ever have negative comments on a restaurant, even if a few things are not good, but we had a very bad experience. First coffee was nasty looking, had something floating in it that looked like tiny worms and nasty sediment. Showed it to waitress and she brought another cup, in a foam cup, looked better but wondered if it came from same pot, so I didn’t drink it. There were not that many people there and 3 waitresses, we waited over an hour to get served. My husband ordered steak and it was poor quality, tough and not cooked as ordered. My food was cold. The prices were high for what we got. We don’t mind paying high prices if food is good, but over 40 dollars for what we got, especially since mine was fries and a very small corn dog, was very disappointing. Waitress never came back to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything, saw one waitress wiping her nose with the same hand she was holding 2 small condiment cups with. Waited a long time to be seated and long time to check out, didn’t finish our food, just a bad experience all the way around. We won’t be back and I wish it were different because we like to support local businesses.

Every to go order I’ve gotten has been fantastic! The wait has never been more than 20-30 min, which is not at all a bad wait time for this quality of food. I highly recommend the ribeye & any of the desserts. The grilled veggies are always so good too. My girl really loves their grilled cheese and fries.

The New Year’s Eve special menu was worth every penny we paid. Our service was outstanding, too. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant evening, and it was made even better when Steve came out to speak with us.
