My husband and I recently ate at your restaurant and could not eat the fish or rice due to too much salt. We had to peel the breading off to even attempt to eat same. Could not eat the rice at all. My husband’s blood pressure went up 25 points. What is he purpose of all the salt? Need to review your cooking procedures. Thanks.

Cite place. Kinda kitschy and retro. I hardly ever see John Silver’s anymore in Houston. Love that crunchy batter and cod filets. Hush puppies were pretty darn good, too. Cole slaw is the extremely finely chopped kind. I call it “already been chewed”, LOL but it’s good tasting slaw.

The food was OK. Everything seems to have the same flavor, but that’s just LJS, so I knew that going in. What I didn’t expect was the freezing temperature of dining in. I literally sit a shook while trying to eat. My family complained of the temp. Not just my family but other families were also complaining. You might say, “Why did you dine in?” Well I have 3 small kids and it’s impossible to feed them in a vehicle and we live over an hr away so food would’ve been really bad by the time we had waited to have gotten home. The inside temp most the reason for 4 stars. Employees were very nice here, and that’s always a great feature when dining in. We didn’t feel like a bother. I honestly think the temp being so cold was to stop people from dining inside. I’ve been told that about fast food restaurants. I’m not sure if it’s true, but it makes sense.
