I ate lunch there today and was pretty disappointed. The place looked like it needed to be heavily renovated. There was 1 waitress and 1 cook running the whole restaurant. Whatever food inspector gave this place a 97 grade must have been blind. Because the kitchen was filthy. The lunch Pollo Loco was about $2.00 higher than other local places, especially for the quality and amount of food that we received.

I tried lol. I believe it was the first time I tried bringing people to the restaurant I brought my family and boyfriend into the Empty restaurant and the lady behind the counter called out to let us know that if we had a large crowd we had to call it in ahead of time, she seemed proud of herself for letting us know we were inconveniencing them. I was kind of embarrassed by this because I was the one to suggest we go since it is one of the cleaner seeming mexi wings and the food is tasty. I wasn’t sure how to respond to her I think I just expressed that I wasn’t aware that was a rule and she kind of acted like she was gracious enough to forgive us this once and that we can be seated. Another time I went with my boyfriend, his brother and a friend, the waitress was very shy, monotone and we were trying to be friendly but she just seemed like she’d rather be anywhere else. Which my boyfriend thought she didn’t like us, I’m not sure, she seemed inexperienced as a waitress so I thought she was just self conscious. Either way, it seemed to everyone at the table she didn’t want to be there, and made an otherwise good night feel awkward and uncomfortable. I’ve been other times and tried to like it but it just seems like the wait staff doesn’t want to be there, and I think the feeling is that they wish we would go away which isn’t exactly the environment that you want to sit down and eat at.

The waitress, possibly owner was Super sweet, very personable. I got the Buffalo shrimp, medium heat. They were too hot to eat …I only ate one but I was full from the fresh chips anyway. Took them home to my husband and he loved them.

This is the first place I have found in TN that knows how to cook chicken wings, that could rival up North. They are crispy, huge and delicious! I would of never imagined a Mexican place having the best wings around but here we are. If you’re looking for Mexican, definitely give their Steak Fajita Nachos a try!

We have eaten here many times through take out or Doordash orders. Today was our first time dining in. The wait staff were both friendly and helpful. Food was better in person. I was disappointed that the menu offered many different drinks and size option which ended up not being available “at the downtown location”.

I was not really that impressed with the mexi wing downtown. The young lady behind the counter was getting really stressed out because she was the only one running orders and she could not keep up by herself. The cooks where getting angry with her but she was really doing all she could,you guys really need to give this girl a raise and hire her some more good help.

The food was fabulous however there’s a Woman with black hair and glasses and shoes absolutely rude and a horrible waitress we had to go up to the counter and ask for more drinks she didn’t come to our table except to give us food and then she walked away and never came back. And yes I did leave a $1 ti’m dollar tip and then she complained as we were walking out twe were walking out that my son which is younger which is younger used a lot of napkins. If they get rid of that waitress and get somebody new and there it would actually be a really good establishment.

The chicken wings were good and crispy. Food overall was not bad, but just average. Our waitress was “new”, but she wasn’t very attentive to refills or checking in on us. There was a family of 6 that was finishing up their dinner when we arrived, and no one else came in for dine-in, so it is not like she had other customers to service.
