Always been a staple piece for my dad, the place itself is good and very well known in Marin. I tried their birria tacos and the consomé but sadly it just looked like beef and cheese in a tortilla with a side of sopa. I don’t know if it was made overnight with love but wish it would’ve been better. The employees are nice tho

This spot was recommended…. I agree. Good food, good margarita. Enchilada and chile relleno with standard sides (beans and rice) were excellent. I cleaned the whole plate… Resisted the urge to lick the plate. The wings were good but hardly had any sauce on them. Only 3 of 8 wings had sauce and were not even completely coated. Very dry… This is what lost them the 5th star. It was not busy when I was there. Habanero salsa already on the table is a good sign.

Food was hit and miss. Some pretty good, some just so so ( like the salad – too much of raw onions cut way too big. I’m not usually pick and complain, , but they delivered the food ( fast service) but after, they did not check with us again. Wanted some water and refill for juice, but never happened. After finishing, waited over 30 min, they never brought the bill. We went and paid. The service was really under average.

Quality has gone way down. The meat was very over cooked and burned in two chimichangas we ordered. Sour cream was missing. Do not order to go because they don’t send it in a container, it’s a paper plate lined in foil. Expect cold food and all mixed up.

We just had this and the food was Luke warm less than two minutes after receiving from the restaurant. My daughter had a taco salad that was more of a soupy tomato chicken mess with barely any lettuce. Very disappointed it was they just didn’t even care.
