I love this place but they have gone way up on prices. I got an order of brria tacos with fajita meat and a side of rice and beans and it was $17.50. I got no drink or chips and salsa I could have understood the price if I had ordered a drink and chips and salsa but I didn’t. That’s so expensive for what this little place is I was shocked when he told me but I just paid and know not to never order that again. I’ve been going here for 4 years and it was never that expensive.

Like mentioned in other reviews the parking here sucks and you can easily miss it. Now, this is a true hole in the wall place with amazing food. Went for lunch and we had a variety of different things. I had the birra tacos with some consomme and some El pastor tacos. I absolutely love the birra tacos. They had a little crunch to them from the tortilla and the consomme was amazing. My mouth is salivating thinking about this. Can’t wait to go back. Excited to try the rest of their menu.

Wow, this hole in the wall is the definition of a small business. A family operated Mexican food delight. If your at a cross roads of what to get for breakfast order a burrito.

It’s a very small operation. Think about a food truck that moved into a tiny building and now they are serving inside. The food is good, not the best tacos I’ve ever had but for the price they are definitely a score(it’s like $2.30 a taco if i remember correctly) . I did liked the salsas and the fact that they give me the cilantro and onions on the site so I can add to taste!!

So this place is a little difficult to find and the parking sucks but the food was delicious! All of the workers were extremely kind and friendly. I got the birria beef tacos. I believe they have the traditional goat ones too. The salsa for the tacos were really good but I preferred the green! The place was decently busy but still got food out in a reasonable time. Can’t wait to come again!

If you desire authentic Mexican food in the McKinney area Cookie’s is the place to go. I believe they are open from 7 to 3 only. We went around 1pm, and it was busy. The food was good, and both my co workers want to go back. If your a diet, don’t go. It will be ruined. Lastly the Churros were excellent.

Everything on the menu is delicious; truly the best Mexican food in Collin County! You might have to park and walk, since they’re right off the Square, but use that as an excuse to get the amazing churros.

Breakfast Burriots were excellent. I bought 8 of them with 4 different fillings for a customer. Only complaint, they were all in the same container and not labeled, so it was pick one, take a bite and see what you got.
