Our friends call us BJ’s. We’re a casual dine-in / carry-out restaurant and bar with a heavy emphasis on craft beer. We serve our take on every-day American favorites in boxes, and on buns. There’s usually some bacon involved.
On weekends we brunch. Did I mention bacon? Whenever we’re eating, we’re usually drinking. Even some of our drinks are #teambacon.

Absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere! I love the decor and the vibes is were it’s at! Very busy but the staff are as attentive as the can be and super friendly! Super glad I had the opportunity to eat here, food was awesome! I would have bought some drinks if not for having to drive hope to stop by when I visit Charlotte again! They also have souvenir T-Shirts that are very nice! I don’t have a picture of the one I bought though.

The food was great. Our table got the sliders, Mac Nugs, Nugs and Waffles. All was great. The Nugs and Waffles had a very interesting flavor combo… Some of the seasoning was different but good. Our waitress was friendly and fast. The interior was crazy but in a fun, hole-in-the-wall kind of way.

Great atmosphere and food! Happened to walk by and check this place out and so happy we did. Started with the redneck nachos, holy wow it was filling and huge, 10/10. I had the sliders which were fantastic and the others in my group went different flavors of the sticky nuggs, super cute serving them in Chinese take out containers btw. Also snagged some fried oreos which were great. Super awesome place to come drink some great mixed drinks!

We were looking for someplace to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. They offered a great Cinco de Mayo menu, my daughter chose tacos and I couldn’t pass up trying the Burger with pimento cheese, bacon and jalapeño jelly. ❤️ I chose the kettle chips as a side it was enough for me to share. We started with the Mac n cheese bites. DON’T PASS THOSE BY. The s’mores donut dessert was as good as it looked. When you are there “buy a round for the kitchen staff”. the atmosphere was a lot of fun and the staff was friendly and professional.

Limited brunch menu on Sat and Sun from 11-4. I had the Zoe. Cheddar biscuit and fried chicken, fried egg, tons of gravy. One will not leave hungry from this spot. Good selection of brews, I went with a spicy bacon bloody mary that hit the spot. After I left, was told I missed out not trying the sticky nuggs, so a return trip in the near future.

They have ruined us with chicken nuggets for ever. The sticky nuggs with all the sauce options were divine! They come in Chinese food containers covered in your choice of sauce. We had ginger soy lime, sweet chili and garlic parmesan. We are hooked!

The food was delicious. I love the lights and decorations as well. Gives it a unique ambiance. I noticed they also have boardgames in the corner when you walk in? We will have to try them out another time. The chicken was fried perfectly and was packed with flavor. The tatter tots were amazing. We also loved the nachos. Really great find!

The inside of Billy Jack’s is definitely a bar scene, however we sat on the outdoor patio and only ordered food. The food is phenomenal!! We ordered the mac n cheese nuggs, chicken nuggs (garlic parmesan sauce) and southern charm chicken sammy. The chicken sandwich had a lot of flavor, was a little spicy but a great sweet and spicy combo. The pimento cheese and Bacon complements the sandwich well. The chicken nuggets were delicious and came with a good amount. I don’t like spice so that’s why I opted for the garlic parmesan and they had the perfect amount of spice. The fried mac n cheese nuggets were really good and cheesy. I will say, the nuggs and mac n cheese balls could’ve used some more parmesan, but I just love cheese! The sandwiches and nuggs don’t come with fries but we opted for the Mac n cheese balls instead. I would definitely order all of this food again! Highly recommend!
