The best pizza in Austin. The flavor and texture of the dough is perfect. Each bite is crunchy but soft at the same time. The sauce, cheese and pep is delicious. I would recommend to any pizza lovers in the area.

On the quest for the best pizza in Austin, I discovered Pedroso’s. Parking isn’t super obvious but available, the truck is sandwiched between businesses and one of them was out of business when we went so we parked in the lot. It’s a food truck with about four large picnic tables directly next to it. The food came out in about 15 minutes and looked and smelled amazing. The slices are huge and super tasty, feel free to fold and go. We also got the whole spinach white pizza which was very good and well presented with those beautiful dollops of fresh ricotta. However, the ricotta flavor is key and the one I tasted was a bit flat. For the pizza, I could have used a bit more fresh garlic bite maybe rubbed into the crust, and a hint of lemon zest to compliment the spinach and ricotta to make it pop, but that’s just me. It was a very tasty pizza though and I’m happy to visit again. The service was great, the person at the counter was super friendly and helpful. I will be going back to try the rest of the menu for sure:)

Update – another pizza perfection! Pedroso’s is the best pizza in town, hands down. The staff is always so kind too. On my first review, I got the New York style pepperoni and ricotta pizza and then on this one I got the American style half veggie and half trifecta and added ricotta cheese because it is the best ricotta cheese I’ve ever had (which I don’t typically even like but it is so fresh and delicious). Really, you can’t go wrong – every pizza is awesome every time I go. I’m so glad I randomly stumbled across Dave Portnoy’s review on YouTube and checked it out.

I took a detour to try this place today. I was raised in Austin, and I can say without a doubt that this is the best pizza in town. The staff is extremely friendly too. You can absolutely tell that they take pride in their pizzas. I will be returning, hopefully soon. I highly recommend this place. Loooove the crust.

I’ve been wanting to come by this place again there pizza is sooooo good just not around here much!!! Heads up if you went to some trucks that are downtown they are no where near the quality of this place so don’t let that stop you!! This pizza was way way better than the downtown trucks!!

Believe the hype! Got a NY style pepperoni with ricotta and it really hit the spot. It was a perfect Saturday night activity to go get a few beers at Night Owl & then have this delicious pizza for dinner. I can’t wait to go back and try the other styles they have.
