First time here and my dad had been telling me how great it was. Prices were very reasonable. We got a medium meatlover’s pizza, Garlic parmesan wings and strawberry cheesecake. The pizza was loaded with toppings and high quality as there was no grease. The sauce had a great flavor and the dough was the perfect texture. The wings were HUGE and perfectly cooked. And if you have room for dessert, definitely get some cheesecake!

I should have reviewed these guys the first time I tried their NY pepperoni pizza, best I’ve ever had! Anyway, I eat there almost every week, it is ALWAYS FIRST RATE. Anyway, I love all their other stuff too, and today I wanted a calzone delivered. And I live in a crazy complicated complex, DJ delivered it within 4 min of it being expected,and called for clarification when things weren’t clear.

I have been there twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Mybl lunch experience was really good. I ordered the stromboli. The service and food was awesome. I came 2nd time and it was around 830 at night I did not realize they closed at 9 I ordered a pizza for dine-in. Once I was seated I was told dining was not an option anymore and had to take it to go. The pizza was good but not amazing. To be clear my parents owned 3 Italian restaurants growing up and I am Italian on both sides of my family so I am a little picky about Italian food.

Holy cannoli… this place has amazing Stromboli. Cooked perfect with the right amount of garlic & they’re not shy with their inside toppings. The marinara was very delicious too, very thick & not runny like some places I’ve been too. My mother is Italian (I know good sauce) & I refuse to step foot into a restaurant that has bad sauce. That’s a deal breaker for me. Good job Anthony’s, we’ll be back soon!!

Soggy slices – asked the kid to re-cook it twice and then he gave me lip the second time I tried to give it back. All the toppings fell off the slice and was wet with cold cheese. This place used to be better but this guy is apparently too busy hanging out at the smoke shop next door to learn how to fire a simple pie.

Excellent pizza, but no tea or juice! Sure, many are fine with soda (or a nice cold beer), but I gave up soda quite a while back (can’t drink it now for medical reasons anyway) and having water with pizza is not exactly pleasant. They have a tea machine, but I was told that they haven’t served it for a couple years and the owner says it doesn’t sell every day. Maybe try stocking some individual bottles of it? Again, the pizza is good, even better if you could get the Bianca by the slice… but you can’t (my second disappointment). The caeser salad was decent, but very awkward to add dressing due to the small plate it is served on. Too small of a plate for the salad. I’ll order a full pizza for takeout next time as eating there just didn’t do it for me. Service was great, so I shouldn’t blame the staff for business decisions.

Walked in at 3 o’clock PM on a Wednesday which is my lunch Because not all of us have the luxury of having lunch at 12 or 1 o’clock. So I go in ask for 2 slices and the lady tells me that there are no slices and the slices are done for the day? Are you kidding me? AT A PIZZA SHOP?!?!? Then she offers a medium pizza lol WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH A WHOLE PIE FOR ME?? So you could make me a medium to squeeze more money out of me? LOL yeah no thanks. FIRST AND LAST TIME I GO THERE! Who ever is readying this and is from New York? Or a relocate? Who is looking for THE BEST New York style pizza and calzones? As someone that moved back from Florida from Manhattan, THIS IS THE ONLY TRUE NEW YORK PIZZA that I have found to date that , when I close my eyes after taking a bite of my pizza, puts me right back in Manhattan taking a bite of Joe’s pizza. Yes, it reminds me of Joe’s Pizza on Broadway that we all went to eat at after a play. Today I ordered a Calzone, I normally get a cheese pizza and a half dozen of garlic rolls. This are, seriously the BEST and FRESH garlic knots.
