Me and a friend stopped in for an afternoon snack and we both really enjoyed the classic hummus and the fries. Split between two people was plenty of food. The outdoor patio was a great spot to eat.

Food is pretty good but ridiculously priced for what it is. We ordered a fish and chips that was a pile of fries and two tiny pieces of fish for $21. Four entrees came out over 20 min so first person was done before the last had their food. Wouldn’t come back.

We had a fantastic lunch at Lil Shalom. We ate at the counter and shared the plate and lentils/rice dish. It was delicious and we will definitely eat there again.

This restaurant is a gem. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in my life. The no-proof drinks are excellent. The food is excellent. The chicken kebab is marinated to perfection; the mujaddara (rice lentil fried onion) reminded me of Addas Polo (عدس پلو) and is SO good.

What a treasure for Turkish food here in Portland. Schwarma was absolutely incredible, house made pita bread is served soft and warm. Highly recommend! Waitstaff is very courteous and attentive.

Very less indoor seating, outside is great. The food is very well made with quality ingredients, the falafel is delicious as well. I love the service, fast and efficient. But, We got the shalom y’all plate and it’s not enough for two people (which I was told it is) unless you have a small appetite. Also with plates you only get 1 pita which isn’t enough for 2 people or for the whole plate. A extra pita in itself costs $3. A little bit on the expensive side given it’s self service but I’ll come back to try different things.

We find this place on a trip to Portland. The restaurant is fairly small, but we were fortunate to have a day where we could sit at their outdoor tables. We tried the Nazareth kebab and an order of the classic hummus. The kebab was fresh and very flavorful. The hummus was smooth and tasty. I would recommend ordering a and pita if you get hummus.

Good food, diverse menu. We had the lamb shawarma and chicken schnitzel, both well flavored but I enjoyed the lamb the most. Also got the mejadara lentil and rice plate. They did ask to see vaccination status in order to eat inside which was nice, and surprisingly all too rare around here. There were heated booths outside that started to fill soon after we got there, indoor seating is very limited.
