Thursday with a Friday FEEL YAAAAAAS. THANK YOU PAPA JOHN’S for having everything I needed for my cravings. My friend ordered Extra Large Meatlovers Pizza, Jalapeños Cheesy Bread, Cinnamon Pull Aparts, and Root Beer. I picked them up because I was closer. The two gentlemen there tonight were super nice and friendly.

Ordered online and it was ready when I got there. However my order was lost in a sea of other orders and it took longer than it should have to receive the order. I ordered an epic pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. I should have checked the food before I left but I had never had an issue with this establishment before so I trusted that it was made correctly. I got home and my garlic knots WERE NOT GARLIC KNOTS. matter of fact they were over cook knots of bread. No garlic butter on them and extremely over cooked. I am upset because I love papa Johns garlic knots. I was looking forward to them and I am very upset.

I ordered a pizza recently. I was very hungry and the pizza was fine, although I was disappointed to open the box and discover my toppings were incorrect. I have a solid theory on how this happened. The sticker on the box lists the toppings and directly underneath are the “sides” which list garlic sauce and pepperoncini. I think a person glancing quickly could easily think that says pepperoni. (Unfortunately I don’t like pepperoni, so I picked it off and my spouse ate it.) This seems to be a weakness in their process. Maybe toppings vs sides could be printed in different colors or new employees could be trained about this potential mistake proactively.

So I placed an order and the driver had some issues finding me, not a big deal these things happen occasionally. She was very nice once I spoke with her and she did an excellent job. The manager however was very rude. After the driver had trouble getting a hold of me due to my phone being in a different room she had her manager call me, which again is normal and understandable. When I called the manager back, he was rude and spoke down to me even after I told him that I had been busy with my daughter at the time of the calls. Not only that, but any decent manager is capable of reading orders and actually getting them correct. My wings were supposed to be boneless and they were delivered traditional style. That is an oversight of the manager, and not the driver. Again, the driver was very kind and friendly, the manager however. Oh boy. Y’all need to find a new one, cause if he’s treating not only a stranger, but a customer like that, I can’t imagine how terrible he might be to the drivers if God forbid they make a mistake.

I was informed, even though my pizza was not cut completely or as ordered, that I could call back later to get an order sent out they were backed up they apologized for the inconvenience or hold the pizza I currently had (with a house full of people) and said they would swap the pizza….so free pizza another day or deal with a mob we bring u another pizza?! So now not only do I have to wait for them to make another one in hopes of it being correct but now I have to wait over an hour for my order. As an individual with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) this is not at all a resolution to the problem Papa John’s employed have given me and Ms Shannon (manager of the Papa John’s on Rockwell and Nwxy) attitude hanging up and long holds (after calling back twice) we’re not acceptable either. I hope this gets resolved soon as the weekend is upon us. Ms Shanan also gave me a HR Number to Papa John’s when I asked for the Cororate number to complain about the swap.

I pulled up to the drive threw window and waited about a full minute no one came to the window but two workers did pop out of the door that opens to the drive threw lane, behind my car. After about 30 sec. One made eye contact with me and turned to his buddy laughing and said it’s my smoke break loud enough for me to hear, on purpose. So I pulled away, parked, went inside to a empty lobby. I asked if anyone was there loudly. A third employee runs my card, handed me the pizza and asked “DO YOU WANT YOUR RECEIPT. i said no because i get a text when my card is charged. I got back to the house and about halfway through an awesome pizza. (30 min. Or so) My card was ran at papa John’s for $1.23 more than what my total was. I called right away, the same guy answered. I told him I was charged too much. He told me ” I must have hit a wrong button” I told him ” you hit three wrong buttons….. and I believe you were trying to rip me off” he said ” I just refunded the difference” and hung up……. now I have to drive ten miles to go to one that is honest.
