The Cool Bubba
First time visiting and we had a great experience. The restaurant was VERY clean and there was plenty of local high school sports memorabilia as well as Bridgeport mining history on the walls. I liked that they were playing Bridgeport football highlight reels on the TV. The music was not loud and we could have a normal conversation without having to raise our voices.

Great place for a date night. The atmosphere is intimate, with mood lighting and ambiance. The food is delicious and the service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable and if you follow the restaurant on Facebook there’s always a special being advertised. This place is First Responder & Military friendly.

Just left the restaurant and while food was ok the bill was not.. Chips and salsa charge? I get that if it’s only thing someone is ordering but with multiple entrees? But beyond that was charged for 2 waters.. 2 dollar ” cup fee” Really? Charged for what im sure is tap water… Should customers just bring their own cups? Additionally the complimentary churro dessert is apparently no longer a thing per the waitress. I must say we won’t be back. Nickel and diming customers who have a choice and want to support local buisness is not a good buisness practice. Best of luck hopefully common sense will preval before yet another downtown business shuts it doors.

Good service and good food. Nice to have a local place to go to for lunch or dinner. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. It would help if they wore uniform shirts (Crazy Pablo’s t-shirts) to tell them apart from the locals. It has the feel and taste of grandma’s kitchen. Nothing fancy, just simple good Mexican food.

Great atmosphere! Best Mexican restaurant in Bridgeport! My wife and I like to come here for their “Wine-A-Rita”. I Like the military and first responder memorabilia the restaurant is decorated with. I asked the owner Pablo about it; his father was a retired Army Master Sergeant. Pablo is very grateful to all who have served in the Armed Forces!

This is a beautiful well decorated restaurant. The food is well priced. The soup I had was delicious, served in a big bowl. The platter my husband had was enchiladas with rice and beans. With a side of crunchy taco. He said it was great. The service was friendly, fast and he kept checking on us for refills. Prices on the menu were fair. All in all this is a great place to visit.

My wife, son and I ate here last night for dinner. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, maybe a little too attentive. The food wasn’t bad, but wasn’t exceptional. The chipotle sauce is like smoky thousand island dressing. An acquired taste, I guess, but doesn’t really go with mexican food. The issue I have with this restaurant is that they charge $2 for chips/salsa & $1 for each water. It shows up on the bill as “Cups”. Every other mexican restaurant in Texas provides chips and salsa with the purchase of a meal. Charging for ice water is ridiculous. They also charge an additional fee to use a credit card. All these nickel and dime charges will make me not return to this establishment. If the owner wants to save money, then turn up the air-conditioning. It was uncomfortably cold.

What a fun find on the main street of Bridgeport! Delicious Mexican food and good service. Maybe what we loved most was the decor — each side of the restaurant is decorated to highlight parts of the town’s history, like coal mining and sports. So much to look at, learn, and talk about. We’ll be back!
