Tacombi is a bright and fun looking half outdoor and indoor taco place. In general, tacos are becoming more expensive and this place is no exception. My friend and I tried a large number of the tacos on their menu, each getting 3 tacos. We also each had a corn esquites. While the food overall tasted good, we both left still feeling hungry, something that has never happened before when leaving a restaurant. We spent over $45 for 2 people, so it was disappointing to still feel hungry. I would be willing to try again to try their quesadillas but would not go back for tacos.

Tacombi really surprised me! The vibes are chill and the drinks are good. I tried the watermelon drink(non- alcoholic ) & the Paloma (alcoholic), just head straight up to the bar & you’re instantly greeted. I also ordered a fish taco to go. It blew me away with the fresh flavors & how moist it was! There was a bit of a wait time but the staff was so friendly it didn’t feel like it. It’s self seating so as I waited I drank my drink & enjoyed the vibes. Tacombi has Happy Hour which ends at 7. I’ll definitely be back!

Very lovely staff. Super unique style. Order your food, pick up at the window, then sit where ever you’d like ! The bar has flavorful drinks. The food is authentic. Definitely going to come here often. My one request is a veggie option that isn’t all mushrooms. Not all vegetarians/vegans like mushrooms.

I’ve been going here since its inception and let me tell you at the beginning the fish tacos were to die for- but it seems recently they tweaked their recipe and it just doesn’t taste the same. I guess the reviews are what causes the change, but sometimes reviewers may be sabotaging the new Taco place? Idk but the original recipes were on point!!!!!!! I love the customer service here and the fruit waters. They recently started allowing you to order through a QR code which makes it seamless and quick instead of waiting on a line with people who don’t know exactly what to order there. They are constantly cleaning the tables and concerned with customer satisfaction and I appreciate that. Just wish you’d go back to the original recipes. As for the price – why complain about price when obviously the USA is dealing with inflation and you literally are in an authentic taco place in Long Island. Want a cheaper taco – go to one of the 5 boroughs. Anyways. That’s my two cents. Thanks for your service tacombi.

They finally started online ordering, so I thought I would give it a try for lunch. The menu for online ordering is limited compared to the full menu, but the things I wanted to try the first time were available. I got the carne asada taco, the baja crispy fish taco, a corn esquites cup, and horchata. I only wish that they would use 2 tortillas instead of just 1. My carne asada taco literally fell apart as i was eating it. It tasted great, though. They had plenty of seating, and there is a ton of parking. The folks at the counter were efficient and polite. They don’t have air conditioning that I can tell, since it’s an open cantina style restaurant, but plenty of fans to keep the air moving.

Very nice tacos and chill atmosphere. Not a crazy huge menu – just tacos, quesadillas, and some sides and drinks, but it does the trick! Service is more of a serve-yourself situation – waiters might deliver your order but other than that you order online/at the front of the store and get your own tacos. We didn’t get water at the table or anything like that. However, the food is flavorful and options varied – we tried every taco except carne asada and also an avocado tostada. Also, you can ask for them to take off cheese/cilantro/specific topping. My personal order of favorites: pollo yucateco, beef birria, mushroom, avocado tostada, fish, Al pastor. Thanks for a great taco lunch!

Fairly new establishment. We walked in right when they opened so it was quiet and they were still finishing prepping. First impression…so clean. It’s a order and pick up place. The cashier was very friendly and patient. She got our order and gave us our drink. The Horchata is good (unsweetened) and the Aqua de Jamaica (hibiscus drink) was tart and goes well with my tacos and salsa.

I got to try Tacombi when they opened up at 11 AM. I got 4 tacos, steak, chicken, fish, and pork. I also got the pineapple drink non alcoholic. I thought everything tasted pretty good except the Al Pastor taco which was very bland compared to other restaurants I’ve been to. The workers are very polite and will give very good service. I liked the atmosphere because it made me feel like I was in Mexico. I will go back to Tacombi and I do recommend Tacombi to everyone. One thing is one worker knocked down my order to the floor, she picked up everything with her hand to throw away into the garbage but I didn’t see her change her glove. Also, after eating 4 tacos I was still hungry and the meal already cost me almost $26. I think the tacos should be made bigger.

I tried this place for the first time. The vibe was amazing, service was great and the food was so good!! I got the pollo tacos, avacado tostada and the chicken quesadilla. Everything was so good! The tacos were a bit small so make sure you order extra. Love this place and will definitely come back!!
