Small quaint Indian restaurant where you order at a counter. The food is packaged to go but there is lots of space to eat in. The portion sizes are great and the food is flavorful. The classic Tikka Masala was fantastic and comes with rice and a piece of naan. The spicy chicken was very spicy (as noted on the menu) and was very flavorful. I had a hard time finishing it due to the spice but the employee was nice enough to send me home with Greek yogurt to mix in! Friendly and quick service, outstanding food, 10/10 recommend.

I’ve been wanting to try Curry in a Hurry since it opened in my neighborhood, and I tried it for the first time tonight. My friend and I ordered take-out over the phone, and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was ready in 10-15 minutes as promised.

We drive past a dozen other Indian restaurants to eat here because the food is that much better. The staff always has a good recommendation to share and are very customer oriented. Best bonus is this is one place our family of 5 can always agree on!

I love Indian curry restaurants So I was excited to try this one out. I and my daughter had lunch there today. There is quite a bit of seating but there was no one else there eating in, apparently a lot of their business is just take out. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Prices are quite reasonable. As far as Indian food goes it was just so-so, rather Bland to my taste.

Definitely a good quick pit stop, we picked up food to eat for the road. Good portion sizes for their bowls. Both dishes we had just really lacked flavor and richness, which was disappointing because the ingredients, rice, Naan were all excellent.

Love, love, love. I have traveled India extensively as a culinary photojournalist and can’t say how pleased I am that this fine restaurant is in my neighborhood. The spices are vibrant and beautiful and make the dishes sing. I don’t write food reviews, anywhere. But had to for this place.

Food that’s as authentic as you can get in the heart of the twin cities. Some of the things can get a bit confusing though. The vegan iftar platter actually has kaala channa pilao not biryani as stated. (i have not tried the Biryani and this review is based on their amazing veg. Treats) coming from a true Lahori I can tell you that this menu should be on your list as a desi in MN.

Before Curry in a Hurry, I loved going to Gandhi Mahal. When its location was lost in 2020, I was happy they set up this location and go as much as I can. It is my favorite “Indian” food restaurant. (The owners are Bangladeshi so it is technically more Bangladeshi fare). Indian food is usually good in regards to having great gluten free options and Curry in a Hurry is no different. In some ways I like the location and sitting outside during the summer to eat food. I typically eat their Chicken Tika Masala but I have eaten their Chicken Vindaloo. Beware though with the Chicken Vindaloo. I consider myself to have a very high tolerance for hot food, but that Chicken Vindaloo has to be the most punishing spicy food I have ever had in the Twin Cities.

First time trying new location. So good! Great options for vegetarians and meat-eaters! Our favorites were the veggie curry, lamb curry, and samosas. Depth of flavors was incredible!

We really enjoyed the Chicken Biryani & Paneer Tikka Masala, some of the best Biryani we have had in the Twin Cities. And fast service for takeout. Also, don’t miss out on the Mango Lassi!
