The restaurant is very beautiful, seating is nicely spaced out, and outdoor seating gives you a nice view of the hilltop. We stayed inside since it’s summer and too hot.

This Mexican restaurant was ok. I ordered chili Reno, one of my favorite dishes, but the coating was very thick, and the chili was very small! I ordered alacart because I was going to a party afterward and I didn’t want too much food. So I ordered just one! I could get better chili Reno at Miguel’s Jr. The atmosphere is boring and kinda typical. The salsa wasn’t as good as mine, so that was disappointing. Our waitress was nice and attended to our groups needs! We had a party of 8. The food did come pretty quickly, considering how many people we had.

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for La Casita which saddens me because up until my recent visit I used to love to come here and was considered a regular. I came in May 21st, 2023 which was this Sunday afternoon. After my weekend away at my residential job I was looking forward to dining here, but had a very bad experience. My husband and I ordered tostada bowls and the shells were stale. We let our waiter know and he did the best he could to make it right and brought us new shells, but they were still stale. Miguel, the “manager” on duty that day tried to comp our bill ONLY for the shells. My husband asked to speak with the manager and asked if they could comp either our drink or an entree from our bill. Miguel was very nasty in his response, argued with us in front of everyone, walked away from us and said, “Yeah whatever! Next time don’t order that then!” I have called and asked to speak with the owner, Ramon, several times by now and I keep getting excuses from both Miguel and Oscar as to why Ramon “isn’t available.” I am very disappointed in how rude the staff have been to us especially because they know who we are and that we go there often. Up until this incident, my husband and I always looked forward to going to La Casita and ALWAYS recommended it to others. My husband and I are very kind and easy going people and we don’t usually complain. This is the first Yelp review I have ever composed and unfortunately it’s not a good one. Everyone who sat at the bar and witnessed Miguels unethical behavior was very upset and basically sat there and talked with each other about how disgusted we all were with the service as well as the food. Of all places I could’ve dined at I chose La Casita and they behave as if they can’t afford to make things right when something goes wrong but also are very disrespectful and behave as if they don’t need anybody’s money.

The burritos are good, especially the chili verde. The enchiladas are not my favorite, the sauce is like tomatoe sauce. The salsa is good. The drinks are good. The service is very good. And the atmosphere is very good.

Went to La Casita for my birthday with family. The staff truly helped us celebrate with a big sombrero and singing, and they took pictures for us. Great food and drinks, friendly attentive staff, and fun had by all of our group! Thanks, La Casita!!

We’ve come here a few times recently. Friendly and efficient staff. Food prices seem on par for a sit-down Mexican restaurant. We got the fried ice cream tonight. Super good, and a trip down memory lane. Will return here for food and margaritas sometime.
