Excellent restaurant with a great bar. The staff is friendly and polite. The menu is excellent and the food is fresh with authentic Mexican style. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and tasty Mexican food in the Baton Rouge or Gonzales area. From Baton Rouge it’s definitely worth the drive. Try their Queso Flameado con Chorizo, melted cheese with spicy Mexican style sausage, served with tortillas, it’s a great appetizer and definitely a conversation starter to a great evening…

I enjoyed the food however did not appreciate one of the waitresses attitude. Our order was made wrong, it happens no problem, however, when informing the waitress she had a puzzle looked as if “what did she want her to do about it, and it came as the menu said it would”. Now, we clearly communicated what we wanted inside of it. Luckily another worker came and corrected the issue and the food was amazing. Thank you to the other members of the staff.

Great tacos and good prices. I really like this place and I go frequently. I’d like to say the food is authentic and it probably is but I’m not sure u really know what “authentic” Mexican food really is. Either way, get the tacos al pastor abs try any of the others while you’re at it.

Very good authentic Mexican food. The Enchilada Plate with Green sauce is superb. The only letdown was the salsa with the chips. It tastes like Marina Sauce you would dip bread sticks in at an Olive Garden

Authentic Mexican, very different from tex-mex and we love it! The different salsas are so much fun! The combination plate is perfect for my husband and I to split (trying to watch our waistlines) and still enjoy it. It’s becoming my favorite restaurant!

Thank you! Was in the States for two weeks and the meal we had here was the best. Great service, fresh food, cooked quickly – and the flavour – fan-f-ing-tastic! My only regret is that we hadn’t eaten here on our last day. Try the tamales!

Very poor first experience and my last. After passing this franchise multiple times I decided to stop for lunch on Taco Tuesday. I walked in the establishment excited to only be disappointed. Once I entered I sat myself at the bar after no one asked if I wanted to be seated at a table or bar. After I sat at the bar, multiple waitresses passed by and even majority came to the bar fixing drinks and never once asked did I need help. After sitting there for over 10 minutes playing on my phone trying to keep my cool, a group of 4 Spanish gentlemen walked in and instantly was directed to seating by the bar and promptly was handed menus and asked for drinks of choice as I sat there and just watched!!! I continued to stare at the older female waitress with an uncomfortable look that made the gentlemen onside me asked did I get any help yet, I told him no disrespect but I have been here for 10 minutes and no one helped and then she ask can I get you a menu. I hate to say it was due to a sterotypical racial reason but what other reason can I come up with other than just plum rudeness and poor service. I approached the manager on hand and told him of the problem and all he could say is I’m sorry as the older female waitress walked toward the kitchen. I told him I would not be spending any of my money and I don’t need any of their service because it was evident that ignorance and lack of customer satisfaction was present. I have traveled world wide and I haven’t received this type of stereotypical service in years…. But with waitresses like that will destroy a company.

This is the absolute worst restaurant in terms of service. Yes the tacos are flavorful but there is a 99% they will screw your order up and are incapable of correcting it. Yes there is a language barrier but they don’t even understand their own menu.

Excellent flavor! Delicious food. Salsa was a little salty. And a bit of a language barrier but not bad. And the portions are big. I’ll come back.
