I had the rodeo burger and it was delicious. If you haven’t had smashed style burgers they are thin meat patty and normally unless busy done really fast being thin patty. They can be less filling then regular burgers I recommend getting a double patty if really hungry. Great friendly service parking can be a terrible during busy times as it’s street parking.

I arrived about an hour before close on a Sunday. The food cart and the beer hall next door were very busy and I was lucky enough to be one of the last orders before the place sold out of food. I knew that it was going to be good when a family with a small child tried to order shortly after me and the child began to cry when they were told that the burgers and fries were all gone.

This might be my new favorite smash burger in PDX! They make the “regular” exactly how I like my burgers–I strongly considered going back for a second burger, but it was definitely good-sized and filled me up. The fries were also super fresh and crispy and the DIPS were amazing (why don’t more places do spicy ketchup?!).

I’m currently eating their regular burger, and think it’s the best smash burger in town. But this review is for the service: when I sat down to enjoy this meal, full of excitement and hunger, I clumsily dumped out half of my fries on the ground… heartbreaking. Entirely my fault. What a bummer. Minutes later, they’ve brought out a fresh batch of fries for me, and wouldn’t accept payment. Eat here, be nice, and leave a nice tip, these folks are the best!

Sure Shot is amazing. Awesome smashburgers and fries, and great specials too (I got the Caliburger with avocado ranch, crispy shredded pork, cheese, and pickled red onion). Snag a beer from Oakshire for the full experience.

What a delectable delight. Crunchy edges on the burger make for a perfect contrast to the pickle, spicy sauce, and cheese. We got the Jumbo burger which came with nice crunchy fries *in* the burger. This is the ideal American style cheeseburger. Perfect in the hand, smartly wrapped, and quick to devour. Enjoy this spot!
