We were really disappointed with the food and service here. The salmon salad didn’t taste right. The salmon had a strong fishy smell, which leads me to believe it was not fresh. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even eat my meal. The waitress took my plate, still almost full and didn’t even ask if everything was okay or offer me a to go box. We let it be, but won’t be back. In addition, this is not waterfront.

Nice down home cooking and great service. I had the unique almond slice and coconut French toast, delicious, and my wife has the eggs Benedict. Sadly the eggs were 1 minute to t long in the pot. The holindais was good and the side of plantains was delicious.

Had dinner, was very quite and lighty attended which I don’t understand. The grouper special was the best I’ve had and paired well with sides. Line should have been going out the door for this dish. Waiter was very professional didn’t get his name but very good at what he does.We will be back!

Came here for a family vacation we’re a pretty big group. I will say the resort staff and poolside staff is pretty amazing!!! We have all had a great time so far other than 1 waitresses at the Normandie. Never got her name but more than 1 of my family members plus myself thought she was extremely rude and has no customer service skills. If you want to be in the industry you’re in please be nice to your guests. We are here a couple more days and will not be returning to the restaurant if she is working. Other than her its a great place to come visit!

We were staying at the hotel and walked over on January 20,2021. The restaurant was empty, but still had high hopes. The waiter was attentive and friendly. The food was ok. I can say do not order the scallop appetizer with sherry sauce. There was no sauce. Two scallops and a thick glob of cheese. Spoke to the waiter about the sauce, he said that’s the way it is and walked away. The bill had 18% gratuity added on the check. I assume the management knows the guests would not be satisfied enough to tip well.

Made reservation on open table for Father’s day for me and my 86 year old father. Got an email day before for me to confirm which I did. Got to the restaurant and sign door says closed Sunday and Monday. At another restaurant and the wait is over an hour and a half. Just look Normandy up on line and it says they are currently open. Thanks for making my Father’s Father’s day do difficult!!

Came here for a beachfront type of breakfast in Sanibel and was not disappointed!! Got in right before they opened at 7:45 and walked right behind the restaurant/hotel to the beach and looked for shells for awhile. Came in to great service and staff and had an excellent breakfast of the eggs florentine and hash browns were incredible! Good coffee. Highly recommend!!
