I will be talking about my meal at Urban Wren for years. I cannot even begin to tell you my favorite dish because we had 17 plates off the menu and every single one was PHENOMENAL. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They made great wine/cocktail suggestions and made sure we never had to ask for anything. The atmosphere is what is most lovely, as it is a relaxed, almost causal setting despite being a gourmand’s dream. It makes for the perfect spot for both special occasions AND casual dinners out. Chef Taylor and team, you are all outstanding!

Pork cheeks, scallops, mussels, and chicken with pork belly cheeky over the most amazing greens! All followed by Halibut with Crab and pesto gazpacho, Korean chicken, and tuna with pork belly. This is my second visit and both times I con comfortably say “everything” is good here. The dishes are often inventive, and even their “misses” are quite tasty to this foodie.

I’ve been to Urban Wren so many times and I’m never disappointed. The waitstaff are knowledgeable, kind, and they make your experience fun. I’ve been for birthdays, date nights, and Mother’s Day. I love that they rotate their menu and seriously aren’t afraid to play with flavors to make some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had. If you’re debating? This is your message to go!

My fiancé and I came here while we were visiting Greenville over the Memorial Day weekend and it was hands down the best meal we’d had in a long time. We shared the brussels sprouts, house focaccia, diver scallops, and cold shrimp dish for our appetizers and mains and finished with the wren’s nest for dessert. Everything was incredibly flavorful, unique and delicious. The only drawback was our waitress, she seemed like she wasn’t super interested in waiting on our table or others, but every other staff member we encountered was very welcoming and accommodating. We would definitely go back if we’re ever back in Greenville and would recommend it to anyone in the area!

We love Urban Wren. Located just off Main Street downtown Greenville. The atmosphere is fantastic. The food is also amazing as are the cocktails and wine list. They have a very large bar area. Highly recommend.

Urban Wren is my favorite restaurant in Greenville and we spend every birthday, anniversary, and celebration there. The food is amazing and the service matches my high expectations. The past 4 visits we have been so lucky to have Jay as our server and he has made the experience so much more personable and enjoyable, I will keep coming back for future occasions and hope I’m in Jays section!

If i could put 10 stars I would!! Its an experience the moment you walk in the door. The decor and all the natural wood is beautiful. So many wine bottles lining the walls and above the bar. The private rooms!! The knowledge of every product from the entire staff. They really went above and beyond with this one. We ordered a few sharables and desserts and they did not disappoint. The best food I’ve had in a really long time. I didn’t get a pic of the Korean BBQ style steak and beets because it was devoured the moment it hit the table!! Definitely the favorite of the night next to the cheesecake!!

I went for a ladies night to Urben Wren and was blown away! The service is outstanding (ask for Connor!), our drinks came out in no time and the food is delicious. You can’t go wrong with any menu item but the paper bag salad and tuna tartar are two of my favorites. This is the spot to dine at in GVL!
