First time eating here. Beautiful, relaxing decor including pillows for your back on bench seating. Our waiter was friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was amazingly and surprisingly good, we loved the tempura mushrooms! Can’t wait to go back!

They were very accommodating for our big group. They were short staffed. Didn’t tell us about the up charges of noodles, rice, and soup or salad. So, a 24 dollar plate ended up being closer to 40. Good food and great show.

Sushi is beautifully done, great variety, and among the best I’ve ever had. Have yet to try the hibachi (place has one side for sushi and other dishes, other side is the hibachi chefs) but it’s so good!! Their spicy edamame is bomb!

We were in town for spring break and stopped here to eat. The food was amazing, the decor was beautiful. But the best part was the owners little grandson Aaron, he came out and asked us how the food was, talked to us, and just made us all laugh and smile! We will definitely be back again!

Honestly Samurai is usually pretty good. Although today I was really disappointed when my partner and I decided to order take out. This was our first time ordering from the menu for a to go order. We have gotten a sushi roll or two a couple of times before hand. When we called the guy who picked up the phone was very rude (we forgot to ask for fried rice with our bowels), said that when people call they usually know how to order… then when we picked up the food and brought it back to eat, it was barely even half way full. EXTREMELY disappointed. I also watch him ignore incoming calls while I waited for our food. Samurai is EXTREMELY good when eating inside. Which made this very disappointing, hence the 3 stars. If you’re going to eat inside definitely a 5 star review. It might be appropriate to have a talk with their front counter after today.

Wife had shrimp and scallop combo, I had filet mignon and chicken combo. Filet melts in your mouth, chicken pieces smallish, so not so tender. Both in a light, not heavy, brown liquid. White rice on the side. Zucchini,onion and mushrooms in the combo. Small salad with a zesty sweet/savory mayo-type dressing and a clear broth before the entre arrives. 5 star food, highly recommended.

Highly UNIMPRESSIVE! We went for sushi, first and last time at this place. The best thing about the place is the decor , looks like it would have good food, but it doesn’t. There’s not much variety in the selection of rolls, they just change a couple ingredients and sauce. My daughter is allergic to crab, but can eat imitation Krab,… they couldn’t even tell us if it was real or imitation so we opted out of ordering any thing that had that ingredient which really limited the selection. When they rolls did come, they smelled fishy, and the salmon was slimy and smelled off. I didn’t eat much because it didn’t look or smell right, and I was correct. My stomach started churning as we walked out to leave, horrible stomach cramps the whole way home and barely made it to the bathroom when we got home. Unless you enjoy slimy rotten fish, DONT EAT THERE!
