Updated June 5/23: Met John @ SDT this evening. Lovely man, and YES, they are still making the BEST Teriyaki and Katsu in this part of Washington State, hands down! Mar 03/23. The best Katsu I have ever had! Having Super Duper Teriyaki in my “backyard” here in Fairhaven is a blessing! The food, all of their food is terrific, the prices are reasonable and the non-descript building / location makes it even more of a unique experience. Prepare to wait for your food as it’s very popular with the students in the area. It’s WORTH THE WAIT!! Previous review: Don’t let the exterior of the place fool you. It’s small inside but there are BIG tastes and Warm Hearts awaiting your arrival. Most folks either eat outside on the tables provided or do takeaway.

We went because it was recommended as a hole in the wall type of place. It for sure is a hole in the wall no nonsense kind of place. Our orders were taken quickly and they seemed very busy with take out orders. There are a few tables and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect. The food was fine. We only had chicken teriyaki so I can only speak to that. The portion was fine for the price but not special. No complaints at all. It was chicken teriyaki prepared in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price.

A Bellingham Cult Classic – Out of all the local teriyaki options Super Duper Teriyaki is by far the best around. Not only is it affordable (Under $11 for the Chicken Teriyaki) it’s also delicious. My friends and I have been coming here for years and have never been let down. Sometimes the staff can be assertive, but that just means your food will be even better. Super Duper Teriyaki is truly run by some of the hardest working people in Bellingham, they deserve all the patience and support you can offer. Grabbing some food to go and heading to Boulevard Park makes for a fantastic date night, just saying.

Super Duper offers great teriyaki that’s filling and delicious. The service isn’t great but it’s fast and it works. Also they have complimentary miso soup which is always nice when waiting for your meal.
