Finally got a chance to try Rubirosa and the pizza did not disappoint. It’s fantastically thin and full of flavor. We ordered a half Tie-Dye Pizza and half Rubirosa Supreme. We also ordered the Stuffed Artichoke, but were underwhelmed so would skip that next time.

Pizza: Super thin, crisp crust with a satisfying chew. Savoury with delicious toppings. Very, very good.

While it was difficult to get reservations at short notice, we took our chances with a walk in at 3 pm. The pizza was excellent and one of the best in NYC as expected. They were very helpful to look up ingredients in their cheese for a food allergy while many other places wouldn’t take the effort.

Nice neighborhood place with great reasonably priced food made from homemade pasta. We had the lasagna for two and was the best we ever ate. Many of the customers were eating their pizza which looked very good. Our friendly server Trevor made us feel very welcome for first time customers and we will return again

I was able to get a seat at the bar. Only had to wait about 10-15 minutes on a weekday.

Rubirosa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️is a remarkable restaurant that truly reflects the essence of Italian cuisine. THE BEST PIZZA IN NYC is called The Tie Dye pie.

I’m so delighted we were able to get a reservation here for dinner! It was the best pizza any of us had ever had. We also got garlic knots, and could tell we were in for a treat based on that. The house wine is pretty good. We had the tie dye pizza, supreme, and hot honey (ordered without sauce, which they did with no issue for my son who doesn’t eat tomato). The service was extremely friendly, and the dining area homey. We will try to have dinner here every time we are back in NYC!

Delicious pizza and cheesecake here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor and design of the place are lovely. A bit tight on space between the tables, but considering how popular the place is, it is understandable. Reservations in advance are advised. Otherwise, you need to put your name down and wait.
