John is amazing and really takes his love of good food to the next level. This family owned and operated restaurant is definetly one of the best in Sacramento. Don’t expect booshie tables or swanky servers who are pretentious. BUT, If you enjoy meeting the owner, talking about home made ingredients, learning a little history and eating AMAZING food, then this is the place. A+++ from me all the way around! One of the Best in Sacramento as far as I am concerned!!! Love this place!!

Ok, this is a tough one for me. My girlfriend wanted to go to an Italian restaurant and suggested one of the few big chains, and I decided to venture and I’m super glad I did. Upon a quick Internet search, I found Adamo’s and looked no further. A fantastic family owned small restaurant with so many personal touches only found at a business with people there who genuinely care. Try out Adamo’s, read the family story before you even walk in. Take a seat and just enjoy the experience while getting a true taste of Italy.

Adamos is a cozy establishment with friendly service and decent food. Their pastas are handmade in-house, I believe. The paparadelle bologanese was delicious, but a little salty, and isn’t as al dente as I would have liked. The lemon salmon picatta is very lemony. I liked the octopus appetizer, very garlic-forward and salty (great as a drinking snack), with fried potatoes and topped with fennel.

I went in to grab something to munch since it’s a really cute restaurant which matches my vibe. Jackson helped me pick out the best food on the menu and was really sweet. His smile and great customer service made my day so much better. 5 stars to the entire staff as they were very patient and kind. Will definitely be a regular there! 🙂

I am a lover of Italian food and this place hits it right on the spot for me and many others I’ve introduced this gem to. Lemon salmon is one of the best I’ve ever had + they have house made wine from their family vineyard. They make you feel like you are dining at their home. Enjoy!!

Have been twice and absolutely adore this restaurant. Cozy, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. Portions are generous without weighing you down. Every bite is excellent. The menu goes through seasonal changes and it is so exciting to see what they got cooking up. Servers are welcoming and efficient and it’s quite something to see them navigate the space. Splitting an appetizer (big recommend on the bruschetta) with two orders of pasta (each come with an excellent house salad) is a great value.

The most amazing handmade pasta in the Sacramento county area. I have gone here multiple times and every time the pasta is freshly made, melts in your mouth, and brings you to bliss. On top of the pasta their fries are ridiculous. They don’t get soggy, even when coated with yumminess. Don’t take my word for it, try for yourself.

Stopped for lunch right when they opened. Bolognese was delicious. They made beautiful butter pasta with chicken for my 4 year old daughter and my wife had the eggplant parmigiana. To finish we had the cannoli. Pasta is made in house and you can tell. Random google search led me to a gem.

Adamo’s is the closest you can get to authentic Italian food in Sacramento, I know people will argue with me but I will hold my ground. My wife had an Italian exchange student who ate there and said this is the same as in Italy. I would wholeheartedly agree…
