I freaking love this place, everything is so yummy and flavorful. Hoping to try everything on the menu one visit at a time. It’s a super small place, everything is served in to go containers, you take your own plates and utensils, when done, pack your own leftovers. Love it. If I lived closer it would be a problem.

If you think this food is good then either you have no idea about Chinese food or your taste buds are done. Worst Chinese I ever had. They put something in the food which makes it really smelly and the food generally seems dirty. I am a very easy going person when it comes to food but this was the worst one . It made me throw up. This place is a perfect example of why not to eat food by Google ratings.

The family that runs it is really nice. Some of the dishes were quite good. A word of caution, be really careful if you have food allergies or requirements at this particular restaurant. There was a disconnect between the front and back of the house and I was given dishes that contained an ingredient I can’t eat. We caught once the food was on my fork.

I’m from Toronto, and we have Hakka Chinese everywhere. I gotta say Teng’s had some of the best Hakka Chinese I’ve ever had. Their portion size may be a bit smaller than what we have in toronto but they make up for it in their quality of food and it makes sense too since the owners are hakanese, so you are getting authentic food.
