We go pretty often because we enjoy the breakfast after church. The food is pretty good. They prices are reasonable. I do agree that some of the wait staff is rude. ( a blondie in particular) We have had 2 young men as our waiters and they went above and beyond; very impressed. I do think they need to get on a more professional level with dress attire. It does not look very professional when some staff wears the inappropriate shorts or tights.

The buffet is just as good as it’s ever been. My server was super nice and friendly as well as attentive and did a great job handling a little bit of everything. Great multitasker! Photo is just a picture I took with Mama Josie 22 years ago before I left for college because she’s my hero.

10 dollars for a chicken quesadilla made with canned chicken and cheap plastic cheese. No sides. The girl at the window was rude. She said something when we first pulled up and we didn’t hear her, we asked her to repeat and she instead started giggling and messing around with a coworker. At one point she even walked away from the window. You can’t charge these prices for low quality food and no quality service.

Went to drive through off 50th and off slide Saturday morning 8-26-23@ 10:30 and ordered two carne quesada burritos and paid 12 dollars, and was told by a very hateful woman that hot sauce was extra, this is the only place in Lubbock that charges for hot sauce when you get a burrito! Plus they weren’t wrapped good, the juice was running everywhere and was scared to ask the hateful woman for napkins! Won’t go back there!

One of , if not the best fresh tex-mex buffets Lubbock. Clean ,fresh, always spot on with that comfort flavor you love . Fried jalapeños, Queso smothered beef enchiladas, tender beef chunks in the carna gusada , a taco bar plus a full menu if you like to order.

The guy sitting at the counter when you walk in waited on us. Sat us down, got our food. Through the whole meal he had his phone volume up to the the max watching videos, it was very annoying to us and another couple that was there. You think people would have better sense then to do that. Just don’t get it!!!

My daughter is now a senior at Tech & we will miss eating here. The best & most authentic Mexican restaurant! They have several locations but #3 is the only eat-in, the others are drive-thru. Either way the food is the same and so is the service! This is a must if you’re in Lubbock. We love the Big Mama’s breakfast burrito served anytime!

Come in to pick up online order and wait for 5 minutes alone. There’s a lady sweeping the floor and just looks at me and keeps sweeping. There’s a lady behind the buffet and she just keeps looking at me and adjusting the food while no one is there. Finally an older blonde headed lady shows up. She is SO RUDE. I’m guessing she had a bad day that was so aggressive. All I said was I’m here to pick up an online order and she starts barking things at me. Then while I call my wife to find out what kind of online order it was, she doesn’t show up for another 4 minutes. I’m standing here now looking at a family waiting at the cash register to pay and no one is here. No wonder this place is empty. I won’t be back or recommend this to anyone.

This place is very nice. Has a good Hispanic cultural look to it. They have a Sunday buffet. The buffet is usually very delicious! Today everything was a little too salty for me. They also give a menu choice.
