Ordered 2 Papa Bowls and Garlic Parm Breadsticks. The breadsticks tasted like dough with oil and Parmesan sprinkled on them. The Papa Bowls had little cheese and the sauce very acidic. I took three bites and gave it to my hubby. My hubby loved all the meat–hence the three stars instead of the one star I would have given. Breadsticks should taste like bread and not just a dense dough. I was disappointed. It looked much better in the advertising.

The only thing is the manager and the delivery person get 5 stars for making me a new pizza. But I’m so very tired of having burnt pizza delivered then I have to call back – sometimes cannot get thru – and wait for the order to be replaced !

I normally like Papa John’s so I was happy to learn one was in Fort Meade. My one and only visit to this location was a disaster. The employees were rude and more interested in their cell phones than helping a customer. Thankfully, there is a Hungry Howies just down the street!

I had never ordered from this location until last week, in fact I didn’t even know it was there. I was excited to order since the Winter Haven location pizza was so good 10 years ago or so. This was sadly very disappointing. The crust was so hard and tough .. the pizza was cold and I arrived foe pickup maybe 10 minutes after it was done. The garlic butter wasn’t even melted inside the pizza. It was really disappointing.

First experience, I ordered for delivery, took them a little over two hours two arrive with cold pizza. Second time I decided to go pick it up myself. I called the order in, arrived 25 to 30 minutes later as instructed only to find my order wasn’t even started yet. You might think they were busy and to cut them some slack. But there was no other customers inside, no ready pizza waiting to be picked up. The lady was standing at the counter by her demeanor I assumed she was bored. She then advised the pizza wasn’t ready yet, then walk over and started to make my pizzas. I watched her make them and put them in the conveyer oven and box them. There still pretty new and maybe it’s hard to staff but I’ll try them again in the future and edit this review if they get better.

Ordered a large the works with thin crust. Picked it up to go and when my husband tasted it he said it was the worst pizza he had ever tasted. Said it tasted like it was made in the morning or the night before and they just heated it up. Won’t order pizza there again. I gave 2 stars because the wings I got were good.

I ordered from this location and scheduled it to be delivered on post. I have done this a couple times with no issue. However, they contracted this delivery through DoorDash, who does not have base access. I was then contacted by a DoorDash representative and wasn’t asked but told I had to drive to the gate to receive my food. I told them to cancel the order which they never did and I was charged for my order without reimbursement nor receiving my food. When my wife contacted the company to report an issue, we received an empty apology email.

Loved the food, except for the last 2 times I ordered from them I wake up in the middle of the night vomiting for hours! Thought maybe the first time it was just me since I’ve ate here numerous times without a problem and then I ordered from them a month or so later and I do it again only when I eat here!

Papa Johns sent out coupons in the mail so thought we’d try them. Coupon states ” 1 Xtra Large 1 topping pizza 11.99″. Called to order . Papa Johns employee says ” sorry we don’t have or make Xtra Large Pizza. “We have a large but it’ll be 16.99 “plus tax. I told him we have a coupon he says it was corporate misprint and they wouldn’t honor it . We say Fraud. They don’t honor their own coupons . Too expensive for what you get especially when we needed 4 pizzas . They lost 9 customers due to this .We won’t be back . Start packing Papa You won’t last very long here in Fort Meade Bye Bye.
