Quick and efficient service, food came out quickly. I ordered the pork with pate and the taste was decent, bread was crispy. But it had a bit of a strong aftertaste of oil, I had this greasy oily taste in my mouth for over an hour. Had to drink some hot tea to get rid of the aftertaste

Ordered from this place twice and each time the rice was extremely over cooked to the point of being crunchy. The rest of the food was cold and undercooked. Can’t recommend this place until they improve their food.

Fast service, but expensive for the quality of food. Banh mi and a soda will run you about 15 dollars total. I thought the bread being dry and stale the first time might have been a fluke so I went back for a second try but it was even harder and more stale the second time. The flavor of the meat is good, but it tastes a bit old, like it was cooked a day or two ago and microwaved. My chicken banh mi had a lot of bones in it that I kept having to spit out.

This little cafe and their delicious Vietnamese coffee was there for me on, probably, one of the lowest days of my life, and I continue to stop by whenever I’m in the area because their food and beverages are just too good. A true hidden treasure out there on Clement Street!

Something dialed this place up recently. Maybe it’s the Kojo influence, but it’s more than that. The people that work there are on game, recommending the garlic noodles and chicken for the picky 4yr old (we all loved it) and the Bun Mi pork and special sauce, so so delish. Top of the top.

The place to go to for their Spicy Fish Pho! That’s cod in a vegetarian flavorful spicy broth with rice noodles and bean sprouts, similar to Beef Pho which they also have and you can get the Fish soup also with meat broth on request. All their Phos are gluten-free. Small place with a few bar-style seats inside and outside.

Went out for a bike ride and got really hungry on the way back from park presidio. Rode by this little cafe which I have driven by many times and never when it’s open. Finally during this holiday weekend i got to try their Vietnamese coffee and chicken pho. Solid delicious meal. 🙂 I even parked my bike inside the cafe just leaning against the door and they didn’t give me any grief. Chicken noodle pho was a healthy portion of noodle and chicken. Soup base was very solidly delicious. Vietnamese coffee was made perfectly with just a tad of sweetened milk as I had requested. I hope I get to come back more often when they are open.

I never write negative reviews, especially about a small, family owned business. After my last disappointing banh mi sandwhich, I went back today to give them another chance. The bread was even more stale than last time and no jalapeno. The service is friendly and quick.
