I love dimsum kitchen! It was always my go to spot for authentic dim sum which wasn’t swarming with tourists. The parking is really hard though beware, so I’d recommend taking public transit if you can! It’s very cheap and they always give you HUGE servings!! It’s cheapest to get the combos of the noodles and rice, etc, but more expensive (relatively) to get the dumplings and shumai. You can only pay with card if the order is above $20. It is take out only. There are not that many vegetarian options because most of the dumplings and main dishes have some meat or fish mixed in it.

So far everything I’ve tasted at this restaurant has been delicious!! The pork buns will keep you coming back. I’ve also tried the dim sum especially delicious.

This used to be Hoy Sun dim sum/restaurant. I miss Hoy Sun. If you compare the food from back then to now, the ingredients and flavors now seem skimped. Tonight, I decided to get some food from the hot trays in front of the restaurant. Chow mein $7 an order (they also sell a smaller box for $5), pork chop $7 an order and a sticky rice with chicken wrapped in lotus leaf $3.85. If you go a few blocks down, the prices are lower. The food here is OK. Not great.

A new addition to Tanforan Mall in San Bruno. Very fresh and tasty dim sum. The fried rice can be improved. It’s a bit dry and bland. The sesame balls are crispy and not too sweet. This new place deserves all our support during this Covid time. Just put in your order and relax to give the kitchen the time to get your food right.

Please don’t go to this restaurant! The staff and operators were not dishonest. I bought a fish congee, steamed noodle rolls with beef from them, and steamed pork dumplings. My family and I found the food was not fresh and the congee was a bit sour when we ate it, we both had stomachaches and diarrhea afterward. I believe the food they sold us was left over from yesterday or earlier, this was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

Seems to be a local staple – there was a line throughout the time we were there. No frills, order at counter dim sum. Food was mixed. Shrimp dumplings and shu mai were decent. Some steamed buns were very dry / not fresh. Fried dim sum were oily. Relatively cheap however and they let you buy just one of each item instead of a set.

This spot doesn’t get the credit it deserves…amazing dim sum. Grab a steamed pork bun and pork dumpling. Wonderful flavors and perfect texture.

The dim sum is very tasty as long as you know what your ordering. Often hard to understand what the staff is saying you need to do a lot of pointing on what item you’ll like to purchase, forget about asking what your buying is.
