Great food. The clam Chowder could’ve been a big more creamy and thick but could not complain at all about flavor. Had clam in every bite. The lobster roll also was amazing. Best I’ve tried thus far.

Good restaurant in a great location right by chinatown. A good value for 25 dollars for a cup of soup and a lobster roll. You also got chips and a pickle with it. It was a slow day and not hardly anyone there so not much noise and waitress was pretty attentive. Definitely worth a try if in the area.

A satisfying meal at an incredible price. Scott’s Connecticut Style Lobster Roll was the perfect treat. Crunchy chips, coleslaw and a side of creamy Boston Style Clam Chowder was part of their award-winning recipe. Great dine-in experience.

We visited this place during 2021 SF restaurant week. We got the $25 Lunch that includes a cup of chowder and a roll/sandwich. We got the Scott’s Maine Style Lobster Roll, Original Dungeness Crabroll, and Dungeness Crab Cake Sandwich. The bread was too buttery for our taste but overall decent.

Excellent food in a great little bistro. Love the chowder and lobster roll lunch. A must go to place for people needing a great chowder!

First time trying the newest restaurant in the neighborhood has been wonderful. I was greeted happily as I entered the bright, clean and welcoming Chowder House. My cup of luxurious Lobster Bisque with a perfectly gentle toasted slice of bread was excellent. Can’t wait to come back for the Lobster Roll the cashier brought my attention to. All of the employees this afternoon were very friendly, thank you!

The clam chowder is okay, but the pricing is absurd and the portions are miniscule. Ordered “bowl” of clam chowder, got what is medium sized cup instead — certainly not enough for a meal and a single, small slice of bread. How much did this cost? $17. Would be a good spot if they cut their prices by 40%.

Tourist Trap… Bread Bowl clam chowder ($18), bag of chips ($4) and a very small side of coleslaw ($4). I felt like I was eating at a cafeteria, plastic containers/utensils… and I paid the same price as a nice steak dinner. Prices are about 40% above what they should be.

However, the food overcomes the tension. One enjoys the fare. We had a rigatoni with veal/pork that was perfectly cooked, al dente, moist, flavorful and delish. The flatbread is amazing.
