5.5 out of 5 stars! Beautiful location in downtown Spokane with upscale food, great service. Plan ahead, they are popular and usually busy. Great happy hour options when they open. Pizza… yes! Sandwiches, burgers… yes! Entrees and apps… yes yes yes. Top 5 stop in Spokane.

I highly recommend Wooden City Spokane. It is a great place to have a casual dinner with friends. Our server Colin said to give him 45 minutes and it’ll be our new favorite restaurant. The fusion of flavors between the Stuffed Peppers, bread and oil were delectable. The Gnocchi was delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side which I like and very cheesy. If they offered it in a larger size, I would suggest it as a dinner option. Both the sausage(I ordered this one) and bacon pizzas were amazing. I love their Parmesan crusts. It was even better when I spread the leftover Gnocchi sauce on it. Lastly, the Lamb Bolognese was very flavorful and cheesy. Colin, who was an amazing and attentive server even though they were extremely busy, was right. It is my new favorite restaurant!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Spokane. It was one of those rare occasions when the bar, kitchen, and service all converged to make a singularly memorable dining experience. A small but well thought out menu in conjunction with flawless execution made the meal one for the books. I went into this thinking it was just another one of Spokane’s solid “gastro pubs” but distinguished itself in every way… From the lobster ravioli to the best damn schnitzel I’ve eaten in my entire life… You can’t go wrong. Oh, order the Hungarian wax peppers with extra bread to sop that chive oil.

Came here from out of state for dinner from a friend’s recommendation. It did not disappoint! Our server was wonderful and the food was so impressive. Highly recommend the Blistered Peppers, pork chop, and beet ravioli. We even got a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. 10/10!!!

EDIT: I followed up with the manager later after our visit and they graciously apologized and refunded the disappointing items. They have added new staff, which we can all relate to! I appreciated the follow up and will be happy to try again on a less busy day.

Not that impressed, I read a lot of reviews from others and we were very excited about trying this place but their lack of enthusiasm for the guest was evident. The host was very friendly and seated us on time. Our server had no pride or passion for the guest. The restaurant was clean but the employees dress like they were going to a party, not work. They apparently refuse to allow to-go desserts based on presentation—apples and granola with a scoop of ice cream? Come on now. I’ll spend my $ where the experience means something, not just “pay me.” I ordered the Surf and Turf, but the “turf” was a top sirloin, and was good— but not anything exceptional. The Hungarian peppers were very good! That’s the highlight of my review. Hopefully your experience is better than mine. Our server forgot my wife’s drink and it seemed as if she was just done with us, definitely won’t be back or recommend to others.

Incredible place in Spokane! The burrata was so good. Lamb Bolognese- pasta cooked perfectly. Mozzarella wood fired pizza. Delicious! My 17 month old approved and ate from all three items. Ambience was great. Staff was great.
