We got a 10 piece shrimp with Cajun rice and drink for $6.99. It was so good that my old man went again without me the next day to try the wings. They’re also a $6.99 lunch special. He said they were the best he’s tried in a long time. Believe me, that’s saying something!

Let me start off by saying I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been here this week. The food is great and it actually feels like you are getting your money’s worth. The staff are super nice and make you feel like a guest and not just a customer. The owner is awesome and even gave me a free slice of cheesecake to try. Definitely one of my new favorite places to get some grub in Douglas!

Ate here for the first time tonight for a Southern Cruisers Riding Club bike night. The food was really good, and considering we popped in with no warning, the service was friendly and quick. Could’ve used a bit more seating, but that was on us for not checking how many it seats. I’ll be back.

I tried Chix & Fish in Douglas, GA for the first time tonight (March 22nd) with my wife an kids and we really enjoyed the fried shrimp and whiting fish. I can definitely recommend either of those. The fish portions were good, especially the whiting. We also ordered Tilapia, but is was ok, but we wouldn’t order it again. I wanted to try their gizzards, but they were sold out by the time we got there just after 5pm on a Wednesday. The dinners come with a small cup of cole slaw and a large portion of french fries and two small hush puppies. Our fries were a little old and were not salted so I recommend salting the fries sufficiently going forward if you want to sell more of them. They also have rice if you don’t want fries, but we didn’t try the rice on this visit. I attached a couple pictures of the menu for those that haven’t tried it yet. They look to have some real good lunch combo prices currently $6.99 that includes a drink and they have kids meals for $6.99 and under which include a drink as well. The portion sizes are on the large side and the fish sandwich is huge too. Overall we will be back, but there are a few things in terms of seasoning the sides better (fries, slaw, and hush puppies) that I recommend the owner/management do for long term success. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and very patient with us while we decided on what to order and the guys in the back cooking were friendly as well. The wait time was roughly 10 minutes with two tickets ahead of us. Hope my review helped.

Worst food ever! Nearly $25 for 2 meals that was horrible. Chicken livers like a brick. Chicken nearly burnt and inside meat was dark brown. Never again!!!
