We stopped by since we were wanting to get some BBQ the place was cool they had little arcades when you walk in and all the decor. We ordered the 3 meat plate and beans, potatoe salad. The ribs were flavorless and seemed like we got served yesterday’s leftovers BBQ. The chicken was mushy and the brisket was disappointing had no flavor, the beans and salad tasted like the ones you get at Walmart. The BBQ sauces were good I just wished it had more of that BBQ flavor in the food.

After a day at the badlands we stopped at JD’s bbq on our way home feeling very hungry craving some good food. And the place delivered, everything was delicious from the baked beans and pasta salad, to the pulled pork and one of the best smoked briskets your gona find. Just melted in your mouth soft tenderness.

tried the chicken stripes post new menu wasn’t impressed. next time through had pasta and was supper disappointed in the portion size compared to the last time i had pasta for the same price. new menu came out and decided to try the chicken strips again since it said large chicken strips thinking it was gonna be in comparison to blu 42. not at all.. disappointing again and i recommend blu 42 chicken strips. best in town.

Good BBQ and burgers. I enjoyed the Blue Cheese burger. Very flavorful. My husband had the 2 meat platter. HUGE portions and very yummy. Only negative, my side (garlic mashed potatoes) and my daughter’s (mashed sweet potatoes) were not appetizing at all. Stick with french fries.

This is a great little BBQ joint with a good bar in Dickinson! Grab a bucket of peanuts to munch on while you’re waiting on your food. Just throw the shells in the floor … my kinda place! BBQ had great flavor, very little fat, and as tender as you can get. Beans had a rich smoky flavor with lots of meat in it. Coleslaw was very unique and very good. Served with tasty cornbread. They also have their own BBQ sauce. If you love BBQ, you need to check this one out!
