I am so glad I was invited to come here. I am vegan and my meal options was very accommodating. I had corn on the cob, smoked sweet potatoes, fries and salad. I went with my sister and she said the smoked fish was delicious. It feels like family here. The owner makes you feel like you’re home. It was good conversation. The Lounge area is welcoming. There is pool tables as well as board games to enjoy. I definitely recommend you to come and experience the atmosphere.

Arrived and was pleasantly greeted at the door. Very friendly staff and a clean building. Not a big fan of cake but was offered a free sample ( couldn’t turn that down lol). Will gladly return and will suggest this place to everyone I know.

Looked like it was a family owned restaurant. This restaurant was way out of where we usually go. It was in a very secluded location. It has a lounge area, pool area, patio and regular seating area. The in decor was very outdated but we went there after hearing very good opinions about the food. We are very glad we went there. We ordered 2 meats which each came with 2 sides. We got a chicken leg quarter which was quite juicy and well seasones. The Rib tips were amazingly seasoned but the meat was a little tough than i would enjoyed it to be. A friend invited me to enjoy jazz night and the band along with the great bar service was the highlight of our evening. I cannot recall the name of the band, but they played a few true jazz tunes and excellent mostly jazz-influenced R&B. The music made the atmosphere appealing and the drinks while delicious were a bit weak. Other than that, I’d recommend this establishment for the music on Fridays. The staff and manager were polite, professional, and personable. We didn’t eat, so I can’t offer an opinion about the food. We did observe others eating enjoyably and that may mean it’s good.

We were just looking for some barbecue place when we drove through baton rouge and we had the greatest experience here! The food was amazing and the people were very attentive and nice. Really recommend this place for barbecue but aswell for some drinks or hanging out.

This place is a true hidden gem. Food was fantastic, they add just the right spice kick. My kid loved the pork ribs and Mac and cheese. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s a great space, the owners have really thought it out and it’s obvious they’re constantly working on upping their game. It’s got a full service bar, pool tables, indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly. We got takeout but I will definitely bring my family back to hang and shoot some pool. It’s off the beaten path but highly recommend supporting this business. They’ve got a lot of space and a stage for live music. I think this would be a great space for family or group gatherings.
