Review for takeout: order online – very simple and easy. Selected 7PM for pickup, showed up and entered my parking spot – had my food in 30 seconds. Food tasted great and was nice and hot still when I got home. Definitely would recommend their takeout system!

I have been a fan of this restaurant for as long as I remember. So, craving Italian food, I headed to Olive Garden Saturday night. Though there was a wait, it was not long before my friend and I were seated and our orders taken. We ordered the Tour of Italy and Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara. Both entrees were delicious, as was the soup, salad, and bread sticks that are always fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and very likeable. Long live The Olive Garden!

This Olive Garden was wonderful! They just opened last week, but they are doing great! We arrived just 10 minutes after opening and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated bc they were so busy. Everyone from the greeter to the manager were extremely courteous. The soup and bread sticks were delicious but the spaghetti and meatballs were even better! They have a generous wine selection, as well as, a large selection of non-alcoholic beverages. This location offers more booth seating, as compared to other locations that offer more table choices, but they can accommodate anyone. They are wheelchair accessible. For me, the layout of this location seems to have more twists and turns than necessary to reach the seating, and the design seems to have unused spaces. This is my personal preference, compared to several other locations, and I didn’t drop any stars in the review for it. Just an observation. My husband and I are already making plans to return. The food and service were exceptional!

I gave 3 stars because, I really enjoyed the atmosphere the space is very nice and beautiful to see Olive Garden step up the decor. The management is very good, they corrected the issue with my food, my server was not the best but he managed to get through his shift. The food wasn’t fresh I had to reorder my food because of the quality I just didn’t enjoy the food..and it was my birthday so I was a little disappointed on a $60 ticket, but I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. I will try it again, give it another try and rate again after my second visit. To be continued

Tried the new location in Gardendale. The service from my waitress was great. She was very friendly and knew the answer to any questions that I had. The food, bread sticks, and salad was delicious. The only issue is that they are running a little slow. The To-GO area was moving faster than dine in. Overall this location is a great place to eat.

Brenda needs to be removed from the front door she is very unhelpful, unprofessional and unwelcoming. Upon my arrival I gave Brenda the name listed on the reservation. She stated she didn’t see it and told me to help myself to find my party in the restaurant. After walking throughout the entire restaurant, my party wasn’t seated anywhere, so I proceeded to go back to Brenda and ask her to check to see if she had the name on her reservation again. She proceeded to check her list again and said ” oh here it is I will check you in, It’s going to be a few minutes”. About 10 minutes later, Brenda calls out the name on my reservation and I stand up 4 ft in front of her and walk towards her and she’s calling the name on my reservation again 3X pertaining if she can’t see me standing 2ft in front of her at the door and proceeded to talk to a family that walked in the door asking them how many were in their party so I then turn around and spoke to someone else at the desk and they had me seated Erica.B & Noah, we’re great, they saved dining experience. The food was good. FYI the calamari is served on a significantly smaller dish now. The Italian margarita was excellent! I plan to try again in the future.

This Olive Garden in Gardendale is the bomb!, excellent service, I made a reservation for 7 for 5:30 pm. I placed call at 4:45… our table was ready at 5:17!!! The waitresses and waiter’s where courteous and very helpful and kind!

We were part of the group allowed to dine during the run-up to the grand opening. We were the “guinea pigs” and were treated like royalty. The food was excellent, as normal for Olive Garden. The service was way overboard, more than we expected, even at a training period. Managers were surprisingly calm and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. There was abundant and accessible parking. We love Olive Garden and will return again and again. Come join us!
