Okay we came here for the first time since both of us (my future husband and I) were so hungry we were desperate. A bit of background about me is I am gluten intolerant, not celiac but certainly need to avoid gluten. I was just hoping for maybe some fries or some side that would be gluten free.

Unacceptable! As you can see in the pics all of the food looks amazing. Fries were hot and fresh. Roll was amazing. Gravy was good and the regular chicken was piping hot BUT the spicy chicken was hours old at least. Look, I could go next door to Whataburger and they will make my chicken strips when ordered. It takes a few minutes. You are a chicken restaurant. If you can not serve fresh chicken close the doors. Stop making piles of chicken and putting it under lamps. Better yet sell lamp chicken for a little cheaper for those in a hurry and regular price for those who have 5 minutes to get fresh food. You can see in my last food picture the scraps of spicy left over. No excuse!

The catfish is absolutely amazing and very fresh. You have to wait about 8-10 minutes for them to cook it fresh but it is totally worth the wait. I was very impressed how fresh it tasted for fast food.

We use this Chicken Express at least once a month to cater on Saturdays for our Employees at Covert Buick GMC. Dwayne, the owner, is the nicest guy you could ever meet. He’s very customer service driven. He delivers the food, helps us set up, and provides all the utensils and plates. I highly recommend supporting their business!

I wish I had gotten the names of the crew that was there just now but the young blonde guy singing at the drive thru window and the guy who took my order through the drive thru were awesome! I’d never been here before and this was the best customer service I’ve experienced in a minute. I’ll definitely be back!!! And the food is bomb! Fish is seasoned perfectly and chicken is very good. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience
