Was in town for a OCR and stopped in. They were open early with what looked like the usual regulars we were served fast. The waitress was nice and the food was good. Will be continued tradition next for next years race.

The Bayway Eatery was not open when we arrived at around 9:30 a.m. It had signs of not ever being open but I may be mistaken, you may need to call. However, the Bayway Tavern directly next door was open for breakfast. It’s a tidy menu but, I ordered the eggs benedict and was not disappointed Portion size was quite reasonable for the price.

Breakfast farmer’s omelette was EXCELLENT! Don’t miss breakfast here. Don’t let the dive tavern look scare you off. Service was amazing and cook brought my breakfast out herself. It was as beautiful as it was tasty.

Great food, friendly service, good prices. Only gave it 4 stars because it has zero atmosphere, but my friends and I eat here every month to catch up because you don’t need atmosphere if you are focused on your friends.

This was our 2nd visit. Both times, large portions, friendly local folks. Casual atmosphere, nothing fancy but affordable and really good food. I had the vegie omelette. Be prepared to use cash, both times Visa machine not working.

If you have any idea of what small town bars are like, and need a refresher course in local fun.. The BayWay is the place. You can always find something to eat, the Chicken and JoJos are a great meal! Good burgers, cold beer, and the view downriver from the deck is phenomenal!! This is a must for anyone who loves a great and I mean Great dive bar!!!

After waiting five minutes for service the waitress came out and told us they’re closed. It was 10:50 and there were tables in there that hadn’t even had their drink orders taken. We will happily go give someone else our business.
