Place could of been cleaner. Waitress did not act a bit friendly. Lids were kept over hot foods on the buffet, which was a pain to uncover and recover and to be careful with the steam. Most of the food was good though.

First off I just want to say this place is ridiculous. We always like one certain waitress because she at least did her job. The other waitresses after so long didn’t like it because she got tipped good so they all started fighting and all threaten to quit because everybody liked this one certain waitress. You know what I say go back to where you came from if you want to be that petty.They now don’t let the staff be requested because of childish people. They punish 1 because of the other ones. Yesterday we went there and there was a hair in the crab wrapped with bacon. We pointed it out to the staff. The owners were like we will only take a $1 off the bill. There is reason after reason why I will not keep going there. Threatening their staff because of good service. How ridiculous. Also they are not that clean and keep raising prices but can’t keep the bar full of food.

Possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I informed the staff,that the shrimp was bad off of the Mongolian sushi bar, she took my plate and threw it away. But never removed the shrimp from the bar.The restaurants was dirty.See pics if this is what it looks like in the front, I would be scared to see what the kitchen looks like .I would not give it one star,but the only way I could do a review..Please don’t eat here if you value ,your health.Dirty buffet silver ware and cups.

This place is bad, folks. Don’t even drive near it. You’ll be lower than by the low price, but the low quality of the food, and the poor service will definitely scare you off once and for all. This place used to be good. It used to be really good. But now it’s the only game in town and it’s terrible. What do I mean by terrible? This food isn’t even really Chinese American food, or even Americanized Chinese food. Some of what is on this Buffet cannot even be identified as food. Let’s start with the drinks. I opted for a glass of water. It came in a dingy cup and had an odd brownish tint to it, which at first I thought was due to the dim lighting and possibly dirty nature of the cup. The waitress didn’t bother to put more ice in it. She just filled it back up with warm water. I started with some appetizers from the Buffay… The usual… Crab Rangoon‘s, some chicken teriyaki, and an eggroll. The crab Rangoon‘s were strictly cream cheese inside a crunchy shell. The chicken teriyaki was extremely dry and oddly greasy. It looks like a meat from the chicken wings put on a long toothpick. The eggrolls were bland. Next we have the main course. Now there are a number of options you can choose from, each in its own dark brown sauce. Even some dishes that do not normally have dark brown sauce or slathered in it. The barbecued spareribs, which were chopped off the bone were coded and catch up. That was not barbecue sauce it was literally catsup. The chow mein fun, or rice noodle, with an odd brown color as well and completely broken up into little bite-size pieces. No long noodles in sight . Even the plain white rice was gross… It was slimy. The deserts did not fare much better. Nothing was exceptionally warm, nor exceptionally cold meaning that it was all probably in the temperature danger zone. Yep this place was absolutely packed.

The restaurant is clean. The selection is large. The food is delicious. So many Chinese buffets have a large selection of different types of food. All Star is 80% full of Chinese food favorites. The staff was friendly and very attentive. There was a person with a walkie talkie examining the buffet and barking out orders to cook more of what items were running low, and this was on a Tuesday night. I can only imagine how good this place would be on a Friday or Saturday night. They don’t shy away from the costly seafood options although I will say their sushi selection is lacking. If you’re wanting to fill up on sush, this isn’t your place. If you want to sample literally anything on a traditional Chinese food menu cooked very well then this is your restaurant. The price is CHEAP ($13) YES…they threaten a very small $3 fee for wasted food OR you can pack it up and take it home with you but honestly, for the price per person it’s worth it. They could easily charge EVERY customer $20 to get in and get rid of the wasted food tax and still be worth it. Also; my fiance and I asked for the check before we even finished and the check was already printed so I feel like it’s insurance against extreme wasters.

The general Tso’s tasted like…. HOT SAUCE!!! Worst food ever. I knew as soon as I walked in but decided to try it. The chicken as so freezer burnt it was white. Other nonbreaded chicken was pure fat. We were also seated right next to where the woman stands and watches everyone eat. She so close and then other women came and talked to her. One of the staff was walking around singing making eye contact. It was so weird in there. Paid $31 to wipe my bum. Never again. We left and went to Primanti Bros. Don’t waste your time or your money. Horrible.

Made two trips in one here! The place was Dirty and cluttered with boxes and paper and junk a fire Hazzard waiting to happen. The food was cold and did not taste good at all! Was hoping I wasn’t going to get sick when I got home. Service was slow and poor. Sorry but I would think twice on eating here.
