Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

So slow, I had never been in such a slow drive through. I could take a 10 minute walk up and down the next door lane and come back to my husband who was sitting parked in the car. I even had time to take a second walk. I don’t know if what the situation was but I do know the workers were doing their best. They served us our food with a smile.

This location never lets you down for their amazing burgers and more. Dined in for lunch before continuing our journey on the road. Ordered three meals got our drinks and less than 10mins our food was out.

Best green Chile cheeseburger at a fast food place in town! We prefer here over Lotta burger any day. No line in the drive up when we went. Still hot when we got home. Large drinks are actually large! Not happy about the Styrofoam cups though.

I decided to order take out for my train ride. It took over 20 minutes to get a grilled chicken sandwich. The inside of restaurant has a lot dinning space. When I checked on my order after 10 minutes the lady was rude and said you still have 2 orders ahead of you and we only have one cook. I said okay. So I wanted another 10 minutes or so and then i got the same attitude, saying your order is getting worked on. After I said I wanted to cancel my order if it hasn’t been started on. The sandwich was delicious even though it was pretty plain.

The line in drive thru is ALWAYS super long and takes forever. If there are about 3 cars ahead of you then you will be waiting 20 minutes atleast to get to the window and then about 5-7 minutes for your order. The food is good it just takes forever and itis EXPENSIVE especially for fast food. For 3 people to have the meals we spent $45 which we could of gone to a restaurant for that price but it was a holiday and they were the only place open.

I paid 14 dollars for one single burger and 3 chicken strips which I think is a lil much, even tho I said single burger they tried to charge me for a meal with a double burger, after going back an forth with the employees they finally took the meal off but still charged me for the double even tho I didn’t order that. I also think the meat could have been cooked a little bit longer.

I’m sorry I had to go with the 4 because I had the patty melt and I only got the single Patty seemed awful skinny? but pretty sure last time I got the double and it was delicious. Still good but not very filling service was fantastic! I’ll get the double next time.

Incredibly slow. No idea why it has to be slower than a snail. Whenever I come they constantly have a giant line that takes ten years to get through. I’m sure the workers they have are trying but they really need to address their service speed. Maybe hire some more workers? Edit: No joke I’ve been waiting for nearing an hour. I will not be returning as I don’t feel like spending my life in their damned drive through. Drive through more like crawl through.
