I’ve been driving past the place for years in the afternoon, and it’s always been closed. I happen to be in the neighborhood in the morning yesterday, and stopped by to look a little more closely. It’s a breakfast place.

The perfect little breakfast stop! We wanted to find a quick place on our way through Boulder, and we’re so thankful we found Dots! Service was so sweet and really fast! We were in & out in under an hour. The house breakfast plate was delicious & so was the French toast! We added gravy on the side to go with the massive biscuit! Yummy!!

Some of the best diner food I’ve had. Potatoes were crispy. Peppers and onions were caramelized. Eggs were cooked correctly. Biscuits and gravy were good. Bacon was crispy.

Cute little place to grab breakfast or brunch. They have a simple menu of all the common breakfast items you would expect. I had one of their special omelets and it was good.

A quintessential diner, and one of the most charming. So clean and inviting. Great beet and goat cheese salad! We loved sitting at the counter and we loved our waitress, who is the maker of pies.

This is where locals go, not the overpriced kitchy spots on Pearl that have an hour wait for a three-top. I go here a couple of times a month, great breakfast, easily more consistent quality and less wait than the trendy spots that have an hour wait no matter when you go. Drop biscuits are great, and yeah, it’s a lil hippy, but it’s Dots, a slice of old boulder. For the true locals.

the food is delicious and worth the price. service made me never want to come here again. had my fork taken from me before i even got to my pancake, tried getting someone to get me another one but gave up and just ate with my hands. then as i’m finishing my meal my server started having a conversation about their wart removals and dermatologist visits with the guy next to me. super pleasant to hear about the various methods of skin abnormality removals while i’m trying to eat my food. come here for the food, don’t expect much else

Our first visit on a Sunday at 12pm and even though the place was packed, the service was fast and friendly.

If you know Dots, you go there for the biscuits and the Boulder hippie vibe. If you are looking for a 5 star dining experience, don’t go there, but if you want really good food and a place to chill GO! We have been going to Dots since 1992.
