Talk about hidden away. It was not far from the marina we were staying at but it seems fairly unknown. What a great place to go. It is in a 1933 renovated classic airport building that is gorgeous. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is just fantastic. I have had eggs Benedict at many other restaurants, but these were the best. Eggs poached to perfection, hollandaise buttery, rich and creamy. The grits with the smoked cheese, the omelets were wonderful. Can’t wait to go again. My compliments to the chef and full staff.

I was so excited by this place. The retro decor was amazing and so was the food. Well worth the trip. Watched the planes out the window while I ate. Great museum upstairs as well.

Food was pretty darn good. Onion rings are to die for! Service was just ok as we had to wait a little too long to give our order, and to get our check. The manager did check on us regularly though. The building is the big selling point. The Art Deco design is phenomenal. Beautifully renovated. Definitely worth checking out.

The food is excellent! I particularly love the crab cake benedict!! My husband loves the Doolittle omelet. All of the staff is kind and service is good. The background music is not invasive and lovely. Love having brunch here!!!

It’s really good food and a great place to eat and watch the small planes takeoff and land. All of the dishes here are well made and taste delicious. We go there for lunch about twice a month. The fried chicken is so good because it’s cooked to order and served very fresh. Stop in, you’ll love it.

Would give this place 6 stars if I could! Love this place! It’s a wonderful experience every time I come! Like stepping back into the past where things like caring servers and quality ingredients were normal and the reason you went out to eat. It always feels like an old New Orleans experience where the servers know your name and want to know how life is treating you. They take the time to chat and figure out what you like so the next time you go, you have an even better time.

Honestly, I can’t speak much for the food as I didn’t really eat anything. However, I did have the Bread Pudding with the white chocolate sauce and I fell in love. I ordered a pan and shared with my brother in law who also fell in love! OMGoodness…IT’S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

Hey, please do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem of a diner. My wife and I ordered the Doolittle omelette and the Brisquet (Wednesday only) and it was a wonderful and romantic experience sitting in a 1940s time capsule watching planes take off and land.
