Very disappointing. Has the name of the iconic Elgin BBQ – but that’s all. The brisket was dry and tasteless but it was better than the lamb ribs which approached inedible. I couldn’t even bite through most of it. Oddly, my girlfriend ordered the small dinner salad and loved it. So this is the BBQ place to go, if you prefer salad to BBQ.

This location is not as great as the 290- one. However staff was wonderful. For some reason that day they did not have both dispensers up and the utensils available at both ends which made it a crutch. I used to love this place but the meat is not the same . I didn’t enjoy the chicken as I thought I would, but the sausage was great.

First thing. I will say the staff were super friendly and helpful. I ordered the 3 meat plate. Brisket, Turkey, and chicken. The sides were Mac and cheese, with corn on the Cobb. The brisket was tender with no flavor or much season. The chicken and turkey was meh. And for $30 I expected better. I was super excited to try the food and was let down severely.
