HANDS DOWN the best soul food my family and I found since relocating to Goldsboro! We have eaten here about twice a week since finding out about this place. I can’t say enough about how great this place is…it is a bit pricey but well worth the cost! Food portions are phenomenal, food has taste (not that bland stuff,) and everyone is extremely friendly.

My first time eating here. I ordered the turkey wings with mushroom gravy a yellow rice with mushroom gravy mixed greens cornbread… The wings were very delicious, the yellow rice with the mushroom gravy was very tasty, the mix greens wasn’t what I expected they wasn’t as good as I hope, the corn bread was a bit to wet for my taste the peach tea was absolutely too sweet!!! The free dessert choice was steal .. the whole meal was like $$$…. I probably would try another meal in the future. Happy eats my friends!!!

Amazing food. A coworker and I randomly stopped in while driving through one day. I had the smoked beef sausage and stuffed pepper with rice and stewed okra. The food was delicious. The dessert was homemade pineapple cake.

Very very good, delicious food. You can tell that it was made with love. Tasty and a good variety. Wow. A small little secret with booming taste. All staff were very nice and made sure you had everything you needed.

This meal rejuvenated my soul it was so good! The best meal I’ve had in Goldsboro since I’ve been here (a few months now) hands down. I had a turkey wing, black eyed peas, glazed carrots, cornbread, pineapple cake, and sweet tea. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with soothing music. Everyone was so welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed and checking on me. Would highly recommend!!
