I arrived to order out at 4:30pm. Online the restaurant says it’s supposedly open until 8:00pm. They were closed already with a sharpie written piece of paper stating they are closed. What is the deal, keep track of your business online and help your customers not waste their time. Seriously not cool.

The food was okay. I recommend the siriachacha and shoyu the way sauce. The lowkeyrito was good as well, but not for almost 20 dollars. Other than the food, the service was not good. The young woman with a hat was very rude, and she made us very uncomfortable. I wish there was better service.

MOUND OF MUD! I ordered 2 poke bowls for my elderly mom and dad. My mom bit into this huge mound of mud because she cannot see very well and took a bite thinking it was food. She rinsed her mouth multiple times but still couldn’t get the grittiness out of her mouth completely and swallowed some. I feel so bad for my mom who had to eat this and am disgusted how a huge mound of mud can be in the food, a size of a golf ball!?! We ended up tossing everything, even the second bowl we put in the fridge for my dad. I called the restaurant and sent 2 photos to the manager. She claimed it was an avocado seed! Are you freaking serious? I told my mom to smash it and obviously it broke into pieces of mud. Huge food safety and sanitary issues here. DO NOT EAT here.

One of the few poke place that I frequently visit. Staff is very helpful and the fish is fresh. Definitely get their bootea rice which is rice cooked in green tea, make sure you get some hot Cheetos in your poke, sounds weird but it adds a crunch to your bowl.

Definitely one of my favorite poke joints— I visit my friends in Garden Grove just to come here, really! I love the concept of creating your own bowl and the toppings are pretty much unlimited (they only charge for a couple of extra things, like avocado… as per usual). Most poke restaurants offer either only one or two toppings/sides or much smaller portions that are not satisfying.

Update: Recently went back here to see if anything has changed, only my appetite did. I ordered a small bowl and made me super full! Still a good place to grab a quick bite.

Definitely my favorite poke place. Their bootea rice is delicious! They are generous on the toppings as well! Highly recommend ordering ahead to skip the long line.

There’s nothing low-key about this poke joint – it’s pretty cool and their boo-tea rice is bomb! It’s green tea infused, yum! It’s got a hip vibe and good service. I also appreciate the ice cold water dispenser.

Best Poke place I have been to since I moved to Garden Grove about four months ago. Love how they have a large selection for bases such as veggies or various kinds of rice instead of just white or brown rice. The rice is warm as well which would seem normal but I’ve been to some with cold rice. Plenty of fish to choose from as well as lots of sauces and various other toppings. Price is about on par with other past Poke places I went to at my old area. Glad I found this place as it will be my go to spot for poke cravings!
