The service was fantastic and it’s a nice friendly atmosphere. I am still thinking about my Tijuana Tacos that I had and the size of the frozen mug of coke was impressive. All of the waitress’s were amazing and super polite.

The beans have onions in them which I did not like and I thought the salsa bland compared to other area Mexican restaurants. The service and staff were wonderful though. Very attentive and helpful. Was there when they opened for a weekday lunch. Chips were cold not fresh or heated. I ordered a speedy off the lunch menu a sweet tea which was very sweet and fried ice cream for dessert my bill was over 20 dollars for lunch. The ice cream was ok not hard shell fried but not bad. See pictures below for portions and food. The taco was my favorite.

Great food and a happening environment. Went during happy hour on Thursday and was shocked at how good the 1$ Margheritas were. Good sized portions and you get complementary nachos and salsa as well. Must visit for happy hours!

I absolutely love eating here. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere is fantastic. They have really strong margaritas if you like to drink. 99 cent margaritas on Thursdays. Outside patio for those who like to be in open air. It’s covered in one area and open with umbrellas in another.

I came here almost 3 years ago and had a bad experience and swore I’d never return. I went back on my word and tried it again, and I regret it. Our server was not personable in the slightest. When our food came, the chicken in my dish was overcooked and stringy. We waited for our server to return for about 15 minutes to request a new dish and my husband had been out of his beverage since just after we had gotten our food. We all made eye contact with and tried to flag down a few other employees while waiting and each one of them turned away and ignored us. He and my mother were already finished with their food by the time our server returned. My husband had eaten his meal without a drink and I was still waiting to ask for a replacement meal. When our server finally returned she said she’d get more Coke for my husband and she would talk to her manager about my dish. The manager came over and asked if everything was okay and I explained the issue to her as well. I told her that now we needed to leave because it had been 20 minutes since we received our food and at this point we needed to get home with our infant daughter. I asked for a refund on my meal and the manager said she could still send me with a to go meal. I agreed and asked for the check. When the check came, we were still charged for the meal. No apology, no nothing, and we paid for the entire meal. What’s more, my to go meal was even worse than my dish at the restaurant. Terrible food and bad customer service.

Great food, but very slow service. Authentic Mexican food, they have a a very good menu, lots of variety of food and combinations. Everyone loved the food, the Mocalhete was fantastic! I recommended this place, but be patient with the service.
